Also, we're going to arrange private transportation to the port (there are 5 of us), where should we tell them to pick us up? Does the Hyatt have it's own outside entrance, or should we meet the car at the baggage claim/ground transport doors?
The Hyatt has its own outside entrance. Just go down on the elevator. This is where we have met several companies before.

Ok great ideas everyone, thank you! I like the one of checking in first, then going to the food court. Still kind of worried though, of them taking my luggage. I may just take it with us, haven't decided yet.

Yes, ME is also at the Welcome Center desk--lower level, terminal B. As to the luggage--they now have a "double check" system. When you check in at the Hyatt, make sure you see them place your name and room number on the pick up list. This tells them to take your luggage. They will also give you a form to complete and give to the welcome center when you check in--this gives your room number at the Hyatt and number of pieces of checked luggage, and tells DCL to find that number of pieces. SO, you have told the Hyatt to take the luggage to DCL and you've told DCL to be sure they got it.

Yep, that's the ticket. Hit the counter with the fam, get the necessities done there, then send Dad up to the Food Court with 4 different orders from Mickey D's, CFA, Starbucks, and KK. Good practice for Daddy - being the pack mule happens a lot on the cruise as well. BTW - I am Daddy!

Ha ha!! You're a good dad. Now to get my DH to bring me breakfast in bed at the Hyatt, I got it last time and brought it back, it's his turn this time!

We did room service. This worked great as we were spread over three rooms and could corral the kids in one room with yogurt and muffins and the Dads while the Moms could pack up the bags in the other rooms without "helpers".
