Omg a lot of ppl getting ready to go!!! so excited for ya'll. So i've got a secret...I haven't told anyone yet... I've bought a 4' pre lit tree (used but in really good shape)and have managed to hide it in my suitcase. We aren't getting a real tree this year as we won't be here on cmas. But the kids are a bit disappointed to not be decorating a tree this year. I thought i'd surprise them. I plan on leaving it in the room...do you think mousekeeping will get rid of it or leave it for the next person? i'd hate to leave it just to have it tossed... What do ya'll think should i leave it or bring it back home?

Yay! We are 5 days away from getting married at Disney!!! But 4 days away from leaving for Disney!!! We are staying 4 nights at Grand Floridian with a theme park view then we are switching to AKL for 3 nights! We can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

I would always choose club level if it's available. You are guaranteed an Arusha view and all the perks of the CL. I think they charge more for the bunk bed room because you are guaranteed the bunk beds. That's the only thing I can figure.

Very nice surprise. Maybe ask the CMs if they'd like to keep it, otherwise I'm sure they'd throw it away.

For the Club room, you wouldn't "choose" the bunk bed, you would request it. No guarantee that you would get it. If the bunks are a must, then I would book the bunk. Otherwise, the Club level is a MUCH better deal. Do you have a discount? It seems like AKL gives higher discounts on the club rooms sometimes making them cheaper than the savanna view rooms, even though the club rooms come with guaranteed savanna view.

We are going to be at AKL from 12/28-1/5. I just upgraded last night from POP to AKL. We are so excited!

I got a "standard view" room. Normally I would have gone with the savannah view but I have TWO rooms and it's ridiculously expensive per room that week. I mean, a standard is $470!! Savannah $570. It blows my mind how much they jack up the price just because it's the holidays.

Is there a place to go view the animals if we don't have a savannah view from our room?

Or should I suck it up and get the savannah view rooms?
