Kohl's Cash
I accidentally let $75 in Kohl's cash expire yesterday. I seriously could cry. I know the Budget Board folks will understand...

Some Kohl's stores have gotten stricter but you can probably still go in ASAP and they may still take it! Their most recent policy says that they won't do it but I think a good majority still will do it so it's worth it to take your chance in store (especially for $75)! You can't use it online but you can do it instore!

I was told this week at my local kohl's that they accepted expired Kohl's cash if you use it all on one transaction. Also if you make any returns later you will forfeit that portion of the Kohl's cash.

Mine was expired for a year already when I came across it and they let me use it!

My store recently changed to accepting expired Kohl's cash for 1 week after they expired.
If the clerk says no, ask for the manager for an exception. My experience is that kohl's has the best customer service out there. Good luck! |

I hope you get to use it. That would make me feel sick too. If your store tells you no, I would try another store if you have one anywhere close to you. I know that I asked once at the store closest to me if there was a timeframe that they would accept it and the cashier told me he thought it could be years and they would still take it. However, I was in there last week and had some that was expired by only a week or two and the clerk told me that if I returned anything in that order I would forfeit the first $40 of the return (the amount of the expired Kohl's cash). I don't think I will be returning anything, but am concerned about some boots I bought my daughter. If they went back it would probably just be due to size, but everything will be so picked over after Christmas, I might not be able to get the right size.

Well, a couple months ago I let $40 expire. I didn't even know what kohls cash was at the time.

I just found about $50 in KC that expired in September. I'm going to try to use it tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

I totally forgot about my Kohl's Cash! I guess I'll try to run there Saturday and see if they'll still take it at mine.

Until these threads, I had no idea you could use expired kohls cash. I had some left over from June ($45), and I used it, no problem. I explained it was expired, and she didn't even look at the date.
