Thanks all. Tried the wow aren't you a big kid now choose what to have at supermarket but when home even if he helps cook it still leads to stubbornness.

Trying to weigh up the value of Backyard BBQ given the entertainment looking great fun versus cost I'm veggie (yes my meat eating anything husband loves dining with me and boy). So a veggie and fusspot boy may not get much value in all you can eat. Could do few bucks worth of ice cream tho ha ha ha

I would recommend either skipping the character meal all together, or booking a character breakfast. I'm sure toast and jam would be available, so at least he would eat something. Usually breakfast is a little cheaper, too.

This isn't the first time that the suggestion to circumvent Disney's age rules has been suggested. The other thread was closed, but I guess this poster still doesn't know the DIS guidelines.
