So I know I know! I waited till the last min and the double tree is all booked up!
What other Hotels have events??
Can you stay at the Disney resorts?
I want to stay at a Hotel that partakes in events for Gay days..

I am a single lesbian and I want to go have a AWESOME time!!!
I've just never been and have no idea where to start!!
HELP!

The Disney resorts do NOT participate. Many of the other hotels on Hotel Plaza Boulevard do, however. In particular, the Holiday Inn hosts the Expo. The Regal Sun is quite nice, and is often the cheapest hotel on the boulevard.

The doubletree can't already be booked up for gaydays 2013... Even if they are, not a big deal. All the real fun happens in the parks, maybe 1 night at the doubletree resort pool party was more than enough for me.

It really depends on how much you want to spend. There are several discounts offered by Disney if you want to stay at a Disney resort and have the convenience of using Disney buses to the parks. There are also several Downtown Disney area hotels owned by Hilton (I think) that will provide shuttles to the parks at no cost (although these may not run as frequently as the Disney buses run.) Disney hotels run from $480 - $80/night depending on location and amenities. Just go play around on disneyworld.com under the "special offers." (But do it fast because the discounts are limited availability.) The Downtown Disney resorts are about $130 - $210/night I believe.

You will basically find Gay Days attendees everywhere that week no matter where you stay. It is a lot of fun!!

Hi. I'm newly single and never been to GD. I usually stay at the Poly when traveling alone, but at the CSR for the PHM. I like the Poly because I feel safe, good for trans and I know the bartenders! Cheers!
