I'm up for either. Thinking of doing it on the day I finish my certification so will be in casual business dress unless I change.

Years ago I went with some DIS friends to Narcoosee's. It's a signature dining experience. We wore skirts or dress pants, but there were many people there in shorts and normal park attire. The food was really good, and we were lucky enough to score window seats so we got to see the boats going to and from the MK. It was a nice and relaxing meal. I have never eaten here, but I hear the steaks at the Yachtsman Steakhouse are very good. I can't get past the hanging racks of meat though. If you can score an ADR for dinner at Be Our Guest, that's a great new place to eat. I loved the sauteed shrimp and scallops! Can't wait to go back! I have to say, we really don't eat dinner at WDW very often. We tend to go at lunch time when the menu is less expensive, and eat counter service at dinner time. I love the Coral Reef, but I'm so afraid to recommend it because so many people seem to have bad experiences here. They took my favorite item off the menu, the Potato Vegetable Struedel. I ended up trying the Seared Chicken Breast and it was very good! Suprisingly good. Their dessert menu changed too. The Blood Orange Cheesecake was to die for. We dinner there the evening after Thanksgiving. Here are the food pics. My MIL and I split the Seared Chicken. Here's my half. ![]() For dessert we got the Lava Chocolate Cake with gelato and the Blood Orange Cheesecake. JJ got the kids brownie with icecream. Love the Nemo detail on the white chocolate ![]() ![]()

That food looks so Yummy Tink! I love all of your great knowledge on Disney "stuff".
LOVED the pic of JJ you posted on my PTR, I will be back later to answer your questions there, but YES you can get a blood clot in the foot. Anywhere you have blood flow it is a risk.I hope JJ is enjoying all of his activities and acting!

There is only one thing I have not like that I tried at The Coral Reef. That was their signature lobster soup. Other people swear by it, so don't let me keep anyone from trying it. I just know that I won't be ordering it.

So glad we got a chance to catch up a little yesterday. Thanks for checking out the new TR.
I'm sure BoG will be very popular for a long time. Another tip, if you want to eat at dinnertime and you'd like to try the gray stuff, be sure to mark what you are celebrating on your reservation. Although I was told during the preview to be sure to ask for it, I've been told by DIS friends who went this week that the "gray stuff" is reserved for those who are celebrating. |

Always great to see you post here! I miss talking with you, but please know that you are very inspiring to me and I'm so proud of you and your weightloss and marathon training.
Of course, I thought of you recently when I told WDWrids in this tr about our experience at Narcoosees way back! That was a great meal, and we had awesome seats. Thanks! Dh got me an awesome anniversary gift! A Nikon! It's on the kids menu! OOp you can get it! But ds did not care for it. He liked my cheesecake much better than his brownie. |
