Day 1 - Travel Day

So here it is, first day and I am sure all of us hates the traveling day. Don't we all just want to TELEPORT there without all that hassle via TSA?

I was deciding if I wanted to do only carry-on or have a check-in bag. But decided to do carry-on (first time)
Thanks to Disboards and some other websites that I have researched on what to bring, it was made possible

I will only be showing pics of myself since I don't care about my privacy as much

I thought I was all set and ready to go, figured I would be wearing mostly t-shirts. I only brought 1 button up shirt, and 2 long sleeves. I was wearing these a lot, but no worries I made sure it was clean

So I thought I was going to go to sleep around 8 and wake up at 2am and just head to the airport by 4 just to give me enough sleep since I will be at MCO at 9:30AM!!!

I went to sleep at 12am!!! only running on 2 hours of fuel

Got to the airport in LGA (NYC) at 4am, but they do not open till 4:30!!!! good thing about this was that I was 2nd in line

Going thru the security was a breeze!

The plane ride was not fun, want to know why? because behind the seat of my gf's was a little kid constantly kicking the backseat and to top it off the parents don't say anything!
At the end of the flight, the father got the nerves to say "you are such a good boy"
I wanted to turn around and scold the father for being ignorant. I didn't because I was too tired

Anyways, arrival to MCO, knew our way this time to head to the Magical Express! short line and bus was ready to go!

I have had already checked-in via online when I was at LGA airport that provided free Internet access via iPads in the waiting area.
Got to the lobby checked in. My room wasn't available at the time, but I was offered a different room with king-size bed (my request), but downside is no bathtub, just shower. I said ok...BIG MISTAKE!!!! I will explain later why it's a big mistake. I thought it was actually going to be better even when I got to the room

Btw, I am on the Dining Plan Plus (free + upgrade)

Before we went to the room, went to the Food Court to get our refillable mugs!

Here are the first pictures I took when Opening the "door" lol

After putting our stuff down, we wasted no time and went straight to the bus transportation

No, I wasn't going to Blizzard Beach
Just happened to take a picture of that since I wanted to take the pic of the "MUSIC"

So at this point we were STARVING. By this time, it was about 11am. only 2 hours of sleep and nothing in the stomach!

First stop, Morocco - Epcot! i didn't get to eat my chicken and lamb combo platter last year so this time I am definitely getting it.
We wanted to go Soarin' but we do realize the chances of getting on the line will be super long, we were right. We couldn't get fastpass cuz the return time was during our dinner reservation!
Instead we got fastpass to Imagination with Figment or was it Nemo, don't remember lol

After getting fastpass we walked to Morocco!! and you know it, I ordered the...

We only got 1 QS to share, wanted to save up to 2 QS for the 7th day (leaving day)

M was super happy we got this dish, she said it was really good. I agreed. I <3 Mediterrean cuisine!
I had the first 4 days planned out, but you know not all plans goes accordingly

After Morocco we took the little boat to go to Mexico to visit, but turns out it went back to the main entrance of World Showcase. So we headed back to ride those relaxing kiddie rides
Next stop Polynesian Resort for our Dinner @ Kona Cafe, oh so we thought it was that easy. Our spontaneous side of us decided "hey, we're taking the monorail..might as well stop by Magic Kingdom"
The craving of Funnel cake was in our system. So we went in and went straight to Sleepy's Hollow and got 1 Funnel cake with sugar powdered (extra powder)

After we ate that, we went back to the Monorail and went to Kona Cafe
We were there early so we took a look at the menu on the board

oh man, we were both disappointed. I had my heart set on the Tuna Oscar and M decided on the Shrimp & Scallop, apparently they change their menu every 6 weeks
So I just ordered the next closest thing, Togarashi Spiced Ahi Tuna and Sustainable Fish (mahi mahi)
Kona Cafe seems to be one of the only places that offers specialty drinks on the dining plan. I got the virgin strawberry daq and pina colada mixed and M just got the strawberry daq.
For Dessert, we had it to go since we were full and too tired to stay there any longer. We go the Kona Coffee Panna Cotta and Jasmine Tea-infused Cheesecake.
Both these desserts weren't on par with other desserts from Kona Cafe that we had last year.
I know, I know. where are the pics? haha

here it is

Pineapple Bread with Maca nuts in butter

Drink:

Entrees:

I love it except for those seeds. it made the surface a bit hard

The fish and the black rice was alright according to M. The fish would've been better if it have had been grilled.

Desserts:

Since we were lacking sleep, we decided that after dinner we go straight back to the hotel and sleep.
We went to bed at 7ish to 8ish and woke up 10~11 hours later

Day 2

Woke up around 7am and got ready by 8ish
Animal Kingdom was the place to be

So we got there pretty early and rode on Dinosaur (our favorite ride in AK) and got a fastpass as well
We used 1 snack credit for the Chicken Fried Rice (best snack deal I think) and bought the water ($2.50)

This was for breakfast, we didn't want to get too full because we had a lunch reservation at Tusker House (buffet)

I went on Dinosaur a few times, Expedition Everest, Safari, and some others i can't remember. Oh yes. We went to watch It's tough to be a bug

We waited went on all the rides we wanted to before lunch and we had time to wait for our reservation. It wasn't crowded so that's why we were able to finish all the rides before lunch.
My thought out plan was that we would get fastpass and then go on them after our lunch. haha
Best part, we didn't wait on the lines for any of them.

By now we are at Tusker House

These are all my plates, I didn't take pics of M's dishes (it's pretty much similar)

Round 1

Round 2

Round 3

The stuff that I had with the couscous wasn't as good as Tangerine Cafe in Morocco. The soup was SUPER SALTY. I mean it was like the chef dumped a whole jar of salt in there

Dessert was the best. Sorry I don't recall the names, but they were just so delicious...Wished I made more room in my stomach for those!!!

We went back to the hotel to rest as my front legs started to hurt from all the walking back and forth. I brought Epsom salt to the hotel, but this is where I regretted getting just the shower
I needed the bathtub so I can soak my legs and feet!!! My legs were hurting for a good 3 days straight. I was limping a lot.
I sucked it up and rest for a bit. Went out to Magic kingdom and went on Pirate of the Caribbeans about 2-3 times and decided that I want to try this "Dole whip" everyone was talking about
I got the pineapple & orange swirl. I liked it, but M didn't think it was anything special.

We went to see Wishes on the side of the castle and it was Extra Magic Hours at night so we stayed for a bit taking pictures and etcs.
We left a bit earlier than others because we were getting hungry and didn't want to be rushed at the end when the park is closing

Went back to AS-Music's Food court and I got the Bacon, Mushroom with Swiss Cheese burger
The Monster energy drink is included in your QS as a drink

I took my refillable mugs to fill it up with soda

got the Chocolate Fudge Cake (yummmm)

Saved the Monster Drink for the next morning for some energy boost!

Basically went back to the room to relax by watching "Friends" on my laptop

Day 3 - It's not a small world

My legs were dying at this time. Pretty much limping all day and night. To sum it up, it is not such a small world. In case you haven't noticed..Disney World is HUGE!!!!

We went to Magic Kingdom again during the day. Went on basically any rides that requires no real wait time and just get a bunch of fastpasses when the time comes. I got 2 times "surprise fastpasses"
One of them was for the Mickey's PhilharMagic and the other was Dumbo (which I gave away)
Went on Peter Pan, It's a small world, Pirate of the Caribbeans again haha

Then Lunch time at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café
we were again disappointed with the selection. We had our heart set on the combo ribs and chicken, but that was only offered at 4pm and later (this wasn't the case last year)
so we shared 1 QS of the 1/2 Chicken, string beans, and mashed potato. We had the Iced Latte and Mango Gelato for dessert

We just basically roamed around for a bit longer taking pictures and the usual
Before heading out. I remembered Main St Bakery is about to become Starbucks, so I had to get something there

AND I GOT THIS

I loved it.

Since my legs were hurting so much I decided to head back to the hotel and rest up a bit before going back to Epcot @ Morocco for our Dinner reservation at Marrakesh Restaurant

This place is on the side of the Tangerine Cafe (you have to walk further in the alleyway)

Here is a picture of the inside if you never been there. It's my first time there.

here is a picture of the bread hahaha nothing special

The menu cover

I got the Lamb Shank filled with couscous & veggies
So good!!!
M had something similar with the lamb shank just not with couscous, mine was better, but she had more of the sauce (it tasted like curry)

Dessert was the Moroccan Symphony

She had the leaves for dessert (wasn't that good)

It was filled with the Vanilla sauce making it a bit mushy

Right after dinner we walked to Japan

I always get this when I'm in Disney

However, they keep raising the price
Last year I got it for $5.95
I didn't get it this time cuz the price is $8.95, that's a 50% markup

We just waited and watched IllumiNations! I must say IllumiNations destroys Wishes when it comes down to Fireworks
After such a long night. We head back to do what we do best at the hotel. Watch Friends and relax

Day 4 - It's like a foodathon

M was craving the same thing we got from Yak & Yeti's Chicken Fried Rice...so what did we do?
Went back to AK to get that for breakfast, why? Simple, because we need to eat something filling so we can eat lunch late because our reservation for dinner at Ohana was at 9:15pm!!! very late dinner if you ask me

To solve the water problem, we had an extra water bottle from one of the QS that we used and left it in our room, which had a fridge this time compared to last year's trip.
2 snack credits of the Chicken Fried Rice. I added lots of hot sauce and black pepper

We got fastpasses before the food for The Expedition when it was time to go on the ride...it was broken. People were stuck on the uphill of the ride for who knows how long. So we ended up leaving right after and head to Studios
This trip is all about the food really haha.
M never went on the Tower of Terror (because she worries about motion sickness) I never heard the end of it from last year when she went on Mission: Space. She got sick for a few hours. So she didn't go on it last year making me not be able to go on it as well.
This time she went on, and she LOVED IT!!!!
Our favorite ride? Rock n Rollercoasters and Tower of Terror. Throughout this trip, countless times!!!

By now we were pretty hungry. It's about 2-3pm
I went to Fairfax Fare thinking of getting the Turkey Leg as QS, but sad to say this year I did not get any turkey leg

Instead I got the Chicken & Ribs combo with beans and cole slaw, for drink - I got the Smartwater (cost more than Dasani and taste better as well)

I ended up saving the chocolate fudge cake for the end of the trip to eat.

I had to carry my food all the way to ABC Commissionary because M can't stand the temperature to eat outside. She got the Fried Fish, shrimps, and fries with Coke and a Tiramisu dessert (i ate most of this haha..soooo good)

By the time she got her food. And we began to eat. My food was already cold arghh so I didn't enjoy it so much. But the Tiramisu made it all better LOL
Now I've been seeing all these snacks on disboards on cupcakes and such. I didn't take down notes (bad idea), but in Studios I came across STARRING ROLL CAFE

I took some pics

I couldn't get them because we just ate and were too full. Plus dinner is Ohana buffet!!! So I figured we go another day to get something there.
We walked around Studios taking pictures. I don't recall anything after lunch since I stopped taking pictures from my phone hahaha
The pics are on M's camera so I guess I will be doing some updating on some of these posts.

I took a pic of Ohana on the first day at kona cafe so I might as well use it lol

This is suppose to be our favorite, after this night, it was still one of our favorite just that it went a tad lower than we expected
They don't do specialty drinks for the DDP anymore so we just ordered sodas
They gave us the pineapple bread same as Kona Cafe, I didn't want to fill up on those so we didn't eat it

Salad with lemon honey dressing (pretty good)

Chicken wings and pot stickers were kinda cold and hard. I still enjoyed it

Lo Mein with broccoli ~ the noodles weren't as tasty as the last time

I swear I felt like I did this review before and I thought deja vu, but turns out I filled out a survey for Disney this morning LOL

Seasoned Chicken (best meat out of all the others in my opinion)

Seasoned pork ~ a bit rough

Seasoned shrimps and beef
here's the thing, I can't say much about the shrimps since I don't eat shrimps due to the fact that I am allergic to it. I like eating them. I took an allergy medicine before I ate the shrimps. I think I ate a bit too much because my left ear was itchy and was swelling up
However, M is like an expert in eating shrimps. She said it was different from last year's and it's not as firm. the shell was already peeled. Overall it was just not good as last time
The beef was pretty good, nothing so special

Dessert ~ banana bread, caramel syrup with vanilla ice cream scoop

I do not like bananas at all. I did not taste one bit of banana on that. It was simply delicious. I definitely would've asked for more if I didn't ate so much chicken and shrimps there haha

By the time we were done it was 10pm. I thought that I just had to take a bus to DDT and transfer back to the resort. Instead they had only 1 bus to go to my resort. It was super packed! We were lucky to be on the bus. M got a seat in the back while I was just standing there.

It was pretty hectic day, but still fun!

Oh yeah, at some point I realized my legs were not in pain anymore! phew... hahaha

update: I found some pictures of Ohana from last year and you can see the difference also with the presentation of the dishes are nicer last year

Wow - you are already through your 4th day.

So much to comment on. For one thing it sounds like the parks weren't very crowded and you were able to do pretty much what you wanted to.

I like that idea of eating the fried rice for breakfast.

Isn't the TH buffet yummy?

I love the QS place in Morocco. So good. I have not eaten at the TS restaurant yet. It's on my list.

So you are allergic shrimp and you ate them anyway after taking allergy medicine. You are brave!

Pretty Christmas cupcake.

Love the room at ASM. It looks so cute.

Enjoying your TR. Although, are you getting the feeling that the food quality is declining somewhat? That's how I feel from time to time.

Yup the parks are definitely not as crowded when I went. So that's a plus
I love the QS in Morocco, Tangerine Cafe I think that's the name. The TS is so-so compared to the QS.

Yeah the medicine didn't help much, but it was worth it. The shrimps were very good in my opinion hahaha but M wasn't too excited about it. She said it was still good regardless

yeah the food quality is somewhat declining in certain places, but it could be their off day?? I mean, I don't blame them since they do offer lots of promotions so somewhere has to decline. I guess they picked food quality. Customer service is always nice with them. Which I am glad that didn't go down.

The cupcake was very good. It was something for me to have at the main st bakery since i heard they will be starbucks and not so sure if they are going to keep the theme and the same bakery stuff. So I want to have at least 1 snack I got from there before it goes all out Starbucks lol

Tusker House was good, but not great. I guess in a way I like it because of the varieties they provide compared to straight up meat like ohana. It's a diff. vibe. The desserts were definitely amazing though

I had pretty much the albums organized so thats why it's easier to write them up. I am not as detailed as other Dis'ners here writing up their TR, but definitely gonna be updating and editing as I remember stuff

I am glad you are enjoying my TR

Day 5 - Bus to Bus to Bus and some more Buses

Last trip we didn't get to go to DTD. At this point we were just winging everything since I didn't make any plans after Day 4.

Update: at 9am when we were in the middle of getting ready the fire alarm went off in our building for a good 15-25 minutes
Not sure exactly what happened..but good thing we weren't in the middle of showering or sleeping
It would've sucked if we planed to sleep in for a longer rest. It was super loud. My ears were hurting from the alarms

We went to Epcot again for I don't know why, but I remembered going there because that was one of the parks that didn't have a direct bus to DTD
I asked a CM on how to get there and he pointed us to take the Saratoga Resort bus and from the Grand Stand bus stop for a bus to DTD

Let's just say this morning/afternoon was a waste of time. I think overall we waited for the buses for a good 2 hours
This day was full of traveling...We went to Wolfgang Puck Express (marketplace)

To make things easier I took a picture of the receipt. Ordered at 12pm, got the food about 10-15 minutes later

I got the 1/2 Rotis Chicken

M got the Spag/Meatballs (she said it was the best spag/meatballs she ever had) and her favorite dish in the world is Spaghetti & Meatballs lol

Drinks I got the Minute Maid OJ (not as good as Simply Orange that other WDW offers)

Desserts: both got Creme Brulee..this was OMG so good. I ate pretty much mine and half of hers haha

By the time we finished it was almost 1pm (it's a pain to remember things off top of your head when things were going on so much)
I don't have the pictures from the other camera yet so I don't quite recall
But i believe we went back to our hotel to change to something more warmer for tonight's dinner @ Epcot!!! HAHAHA

We were at Epcot for over 10 times i think

Our TS was at Coral Reef @ 7pm (one of our fav place to eat)

Menu

We already knew what we wanted to waste no time! We both got the Grilled Mahi Mahi
last year I got the Steak and she got the Mahi. This time I wanted the Mahi

I found the picture of the steak from last year

they started us off with just bread and a slice of butter (so fattening)

Entree: Just took 1 picture since it's the same dish

well 2 pics lol

For dessert: I got the Chocolate Wave

This was just too good, a bit upset that there was no chocolate fudge coming out when I cut it opened

M got the Champagne Sabayon Tart

I only had 1 or 2 bites and I couldn't really taste it since the chocolate and raspberry gelato kinda overpowered my tastebuds

After dinner we headed back out and of course going to one of my favorite spots for drinks the Club SOda Fountain area

and here's me drinking

Day 6 - Epcot-a-lot

Last day of winging it
I hate the part where we have to wake up early enough to make it to the park on time, but we end up going there after 30 minutes it opened.
We decided first on going to MK because we never rode on the RailRoad! We were going to do it earlier on the week, but time was running out for us so we decided we do it another day. Which was this day!

I swear I'm like a little kid in Disney even if I am 28 LOL

I was surprised that it made stops to get off. And we got off at the Frontier and rode on the Thunder Mountain ride (this time it wasn't hurting me, i guess that is because I lost weight approx 20lbs you can follow my blog in my signature)
The wait time was only 10 minutes max, but i think it was more like 5. After that we decided to go to Haunted Mansion again because of the relaxation of it. I knew where the doors open so I headed there first after all the introduction of the ride.
We headed back to Sleepy Hollow for another funnel cake, this time I ordered the Cinnamon sugar and requested the guy to put some good ol' regular sugar powdered!
It was delicious! M said it kinda tasted bitter because of the cinnamon. I beg the differ. haha

Right after this, we just went straight to Epcot again! Seems to be the place to be
We were craving for some Moroccan Food again! The chicken & lamb platter!
We caught the boat to head to Morocco, just perfect timing
I didn't take pics of the drinks, but M got a LARGE soda which includes it and I got a bottle of water to save for later.
We shared the soda. If you guys are using the dining plan, I suggest doing that.

This time our tastebuds didn't seem to think it was that much better. Maybe cuz we ate funnel cake earlier and we had alot of these food earlier on the trip.

The desserts we couldn't finished, we boxed it, but by the time we went back to the hotel we ended up throwing it out. It was too sweet and "water"? I guess from the syrup.

M wanted to go to Studios because we missed Osbourne lights last year and we didn't go on the first day even though it was planned. We were just too exhausted from Travel day!

We went back to our hotel to change because we figured it would be cold at night
Also a great tip/advice, we don't bring our refillable mugs to the parks, so we gave this a try
M told me to go to the Food court and use my charm to charm up the cashier to ask for cups since we were under the dining plan and we "forgot" our mugs in the room. it is true that we were undering DDP and have our mugs in the room. I asked for 2 cups and she gave it. We used it for soda and had lids on them and headed to the bus stop to Hollywood!
When I was waiting I was tired of holding my cup and this seems stupid or not sure if anyone else realized it
But you see this?

It FITS PERFECTLY like this

So we entered HS and it was already 4:10pm and I wanted some cupcakes from Starring Roll Cafe!!! Because the day I was there I ate already so I couldn't eat. I went to the door and couldn't open. It was closed at 4pm!!! OMG my last day there can't even get a cupcake from there!! I was super and
So I went towards Tower of Terror and Rock n Rollercoaster, but before that I went to a shop that had some bakery and I decided to try The Pineapple Chocolate Skewer.

I thought it was gonna taste weird cuz I never had that combination before
Sorry for the blurryness but as you can see my face reaction was AWESOME

We went on those rides 2-3 times I believe until Osbourne lights started

It was pretty awesome

Our last TS was at 50's Primetime Cafe. If you want to get yelled at, and PAY FOR IT, then this is the place to be

I was taking a picture of the menu and our "cousin" Jen said put my walkie talkie away HAHA

When she was gone, I took it back out to take some pictures

I was watching this screen constantly. Good old classic stuff
This place also offers the non-alcoholic specialty drinks with the DDP
I got the Root Beer float and M got the Mega-Berry drink

We both ordered the Mom's sample, comes with beef brisket, fried chicken, meatloaf, string beans, spinach, carrots, and mash potato.

I devoured it all!

M couldn't finish everything since she don't usually eat that much to begin with. This plate was pretty big. She was too full. Cousin Jen came by and said I did a great job cleaning up the plate, but M was told to open up her mouth and Jen fed her a fork of spinach! I wished I could've taken out my walkie talkie to film or kodak that moment haha
Dessert came I ordered the smores. I thought it would've been better. it was ehh and I love smores. I ate only 3 marshmellows

M got the Cheesecake no sugar added with raspberry. She enjoyed hers.

During our stay at the 50's prime, we sat next to a family from Buffalo and we were from NYC. So we were all new yorkers!
Cousins, if you are reading this, HI

It was 9pm, the park has already closed so we thought we might go back to the resort, but we ended up getting on the boat to the International Gateway to EPCOT!!!!
Epcot turned out to be extra magic hours (closing at 12:30am) we made it to Epcot between France and Canada where Illuminations has just started, We were UP CLOSE!!! Better view the the first time!
Afterwards we went to Soarin' it said 70 minutes wait!!!
I asked the CM in standing at the front entrance if it really is 70 minutes
her facial expression and response was perfect for Tower of Terror because it was emotionaless

her exact words "yes it is 70 minutes, I don't lie, Disney do not lie, it is 70 minutes" saying all of that in a mono-tone.
SHE LIED it was more like 30 minutes! hahaha
by the time we were done, she was gone. I was going to go back and tell her YOU LIED lol

We ended up leaving the park and headed back to the resort because it was time to pack

We slept early so we can wake up for the Leaving day to go HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS! (turns out they are open 1 hour early for Magic Hours)

Day 7 - Last day is always the sad day

You know last day is always the sad day! Our flight was at 6pm. So pickup at Magical Express was at 2:55pm
We woke up early enough to get to Hollywood Studios by 8:30am (extra magic hours)
Went on the same exact rides again, seems to be the only thing there besides the shows (which we didn't stop to see any of them)
At 9am!!! Starring Roll Cafe baby!

I got the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake

We shared it and it was definitely enough for our breakfast

So at this point we have 2 snacks credit left so we figured we just it when we get back to the resort while we wait for our bus.

We later went to the "Honey, I shrunk the Kids playground set" and I have to say I enjoyed it because I never went in and it made me really feel like a little kid again

We went to the Spider Web

Here's me with the Ant

It's sad, but it was time to go back to the resort and check out by 11am

After that, we just sat in the Food Court to charge my phone and of course eat our last Disney meal there (the 2 QS credits we saved up from the trip to use for the last day)

We both got the same exact entree as the first time I ate there
The Bacon Swiss Mushroom Angus Burger
We combined our fries together (delicious)
2 Monster Energy drinks (what we needed for an early morning and a long trip back home)
I got the salad with the Italian fat free dressing (super sour)

She got the salad at first, but later exchanged it for the fruits

The burger was delicious..we went to the topping bar to get pickles, onions, lettuce, and tomatoes! you can make yourself a good meal there

And our last 2 snack credits saved up on these awesome popcorn

I didn't eat them yet, but I am not exactly a big fan on popcorn. They do make great snack gifts souvernirs haha

usually it takes 3 hours flight from MCO to NYC and we got there in 2 hours and 15 minutes!
I felt nauseated and a big headache from the turbulence. It was a pain getting back home. Basically, landed in LGA by 8:20 and got back home about 11pm! And didn't had anything to eat since the QS at 12pm.

But all in all, good times in Disney! It is sad to say that I won't be going back for a while.

I might be updating these posts here and there and more pictures.

Hope you guys enjoyed my TR, my first TR. And if you guys have any comments, feedbacks, saw me there or any questions, reply and I will reply back. I promise!
