Thanks Dis Unplugged
I am an avid listener (man Pete, I love your rants almost as much as when you absolutely love something) and I live in NY and I have to say that I am truly touched that you keep mentioning us. We are not in the news anymore, but it's cold and people are suffering. I'm personally ok but lots of people in my life have lost their homes, their possessions, their entire neighborhoods. Their lives have changed so dramatically. A close friend of mine has a 4 year old and a wife and they lost every single thing they own. Yes they are just things and they are so lucky to be alive, but it's the memories. It feels like everyone forgot about us, but then I listen and you remember. It means a lot. More than you know.

Please know you guys definitely aren't forgotten. The Baptist men are sponsoring groups from here in NC in the coming weeks. Our church is sending a team, as is my in-laws. DH is considering it, but reluctant to leave me with our 2 boys for the better part of a week. While one small group may not accomplish a lot, lots of small groups can do a lot of work! The affected area continues to be in our prayers.
