Hello and welcome to our Pre-trip Report!

We are a little over 2 months away from our trip to WDW and I thought I would pass some time by creating this report. Most of our planning is done...now is the hard part!

I have been on the DIS for the last 6 months or so. I have loved reading Trip reports and getting tons of tips and ideas for our trip. I never knew how much planning was involved. Thanks to everyone, I was able to book our trip the day packages came available, I was able to wake up early and make all ADR's on the 180 mark, and got a discount the day it came public! There is a lot of back story that got us to this point! Please join me as I tell you about our family and how this trip came about! Thanks for stopping by!

The Who:
My name is Sommer. I am a 26 year old wife and mommy. I work part time as a dental assistant and go to school part time as well. I am trying to get my basics out of the way so that I can apply for Dental Hygiene school! I have loved Disney for as long as I can remember. My first trip was when I was 12. That was it, I was hooked. We stayed offsite but spent a few days at the world! Magic Kingdom was my favorite. Epcot was a close second and for whatever reason, our family just didn't like MGM. This picture is taken during our honeymoon...more on that later.



My DH is Sam. He is 31 years old and works for a big company doing what he loves. Our Honeymoon trip was the first time to WDW for him. As much as he tries to act all tough and manly, I think he really loved being there!



This is Brooklyn. She is my 6 year old daughter. Let me tell you, she is a fireball! She is in first grade and loves Justin Bieber, Disney, Super Heroes, and Soccer. This will be her first Disney trip and she is already obsessed!!! Mommy has taught her right! She is really excited to ride the Haunted Mansion and to meet all the characters! She is not a girly-girl (despite mommy's attempts) and says that her favorite princess is Mulan!



This is Gabe. He is 2 years old and the sweetest boy you will ever meet. This trip really came about because of the trials that we all hurdled dealing with his medical problems. He is so happy and healthy and so full of live. He used to be a daddy's boy but has definitely changed to a momma's boy! I will go in to more detail in a later post! Let's just say... this boy is a fighter! He is very excited to meet Mickey and Goofy. His favorite movie has been Tangled. He loves Maximus and Flynn rider. He will watch it over and over again!

Oh I love all the PTR's, keeping up with all the Feb ones. So SUBBING.

We will be at Disney Feb 9 - 15, Staying at the Sports, would have loved to stay at the POR but waited to long to make sure everyone could get off work. Should have booked and did an update but wasn't thinking.

We have booked the Preferred Section hoping and praying that we get this section!!!

Here is a list of our booked ADR's. I don't really plan on changing any of these. However, if I can snag a BOG ressie, we may do 2 TS in one day!

Arrival day: Chef Mickey dinner
2/5: Crystal Palace Pre-park opening breakfast
2/6: Akershus Royal Banquet Hall Lunch
2/7 50's Prime Time Cafe
2/8 O'hana
2/9 Cape May Cafe
2/10 Liberty Tree Tavern

I am so excited to try all of these! I'm not a seafood fan but my husband has requested that we eat at one place with good seafood. So... I added Cape May and am thinking that surely my picky kids and myself will find something!

How do you think this looks?

Oh we have an ADR for Cape May on the 9th also. Will be coming straight from the drive in. Hubby and I both love Cape May. Hubby gave me my 25th Anniversary rings here 11 years ago. During that trip we had to do Cape May twice, so of course we have to go back. Will have DD, SIL and 2 Gkids with us.

I am excited for cape may too but I really want Ohana I keep checking everyday for cancellations.
I meant to comment on your sons shirt in the picture I love it!!! I got one for my oldest and am on the hunt to find one for my ill guy too but they're sold out everywhere!!

I was so happy to get O'hana. I think it is one of the ones that I am most excited to try.

I got his shirt this summer, planning on saving it for Disney! But.... We had a party for him and that is when we surprised the kiddos. As you can see, it was Mickey themed, so I had to have him wear it! I love it!
