Getting My Father on Rides

We are taking my parents to WDW in three days!

My father has trouble walking long distances or for a long time, so we are renting a wheelchair for him, but he plans to walk through the lines.

However, he will probably have problems getting down in the boats in IASW and PotC. I am also worried about him getting on continuously loading rides as he can't walk very fast.

Any advice on what to do in these situations? Thanks.
