How exciting. I wish we could just take one over Christmas or over Claire's B-day in Dec (10). My husband can be a killjoy, but some day we ARE going to ...right after I win the lottery.

I really need to take notes of your excursions for our summer cruises. Does tendering take up a lot of time? We have never had to do that, so I don't know if I am going to like it.
Cannot wait for more!
Tendering itself is probably not much longer than walking down the long piers, but waiting for the boat and laoding and unloading does make it take a little longer. We had pretty good luck though this trip. They had a lot going back and forth.
Which ports are you going to?

Sunrise definitely looks like the time to be on deck. Just gorgeous. So glad you took ample shots for us to enjoy!
Yeah, the Dreams are not like that. I understand being green, but we were thoroughly confused.

I never saw a sunset since we were at dinner, but the sunrises were beautiful too.

We are doing the Eastern and Western itineraries on the Fantasy and I know some of the ports require tendering. I still haven't made any "in depth" plans for that trip, as I need to get my February vacation sorted out first.

Oh yeah....thats right. It's not bad, but it gives you less control and you rethink going back to the ship for a quick trip. Though some of the piers are so long you rethink walking those too.

We had to walk through a bit of a vendor area and then out some gates.

Even though it was early, they were already trying to get us to buy their goods and direct us to shuttles and taxies that would take us to the beach, but we had our own plans and kept walking. I don’t get why they try to sell things to people who are obviously in a group with an excursion. Do they seriously think we are going to stop and leave the group to buy their things at that moment?

The walk wasn’t too far, but for those who have trouble it might be a little bit far for you. There was actually a guy that had braces on his legs and he seemed to have a bit of trouble keeping up and took a break once or twice, but he never complained one bit.

Of course the whole time we were walking I was taking pictures to the left and right. Not much thought in framing or how they would turn out, just pointing and clicking.

We saw this ship and a little boy told his parents that he could tell that was a “real” pirate ship.

Looking back from where we came.

Caught up again. Thank you for taking those beautiful pictures of the sunrise and the empty boat. You got some more really cool shots.

Grand Cayman looks interesting. Can't wait to see how you spend your day. I love random snapping of pictures. I do the same thing. All the time. Darn poles and people!

WHAT?!!!! I would have been LIVID. That is NOT okay. It's not even about the $1 or whatever they tacked on, it's the deception! Oh it's a good thing you didn't tell me about that on the ship, I would have taken you and the bill to Guest Services and let them know I was NOT too happy with that! (and you don't want to get this girl mad about customer service... )

Ahhhh, that makes sense. Interesting!!!

LOVE your pictures. I want to go snorkeling again right now!!!! That was SO much fun. I can't wait for your next update so I get to relive it! Ugly mask pictures and all!

All drinks purchases on board carry a 15% auto-gratuity. This also includes bottled water and sodas that are purchased at a bar or through room service.

I tend to just keep shooting at times. Especially if I think I will evnetually get a perfect shot. LOL Usually it doesn't happen though.

The fun will be revealed shortly.

It didn't bother me so much because I do know they add tips on to all drinks, but water does seem a little extreme for that. It wasn't much, so i didn't care too much. It irritated me more that the guy in front of me wasted that time adding a tip when it would've been added anyways. LOL

I am working on that update now, but I need to leave soon, so I might not get it up till later.
