Flight Time on Debarkation Day: Alaska
Hey DISsers,
We're sailing on the Alaskan cruise out of Vancouver next summer. On the day we leave the ship, we'll be flying back out East. A couple of the flights I'm looking at depart the Vancouver airport at 8:30 am. Is this doable? I'd appreciate anyone who has advice or an opinion on this. Thanks! |

No way. Even if you are the first group off, carrying your luggage, you are unlikely to even make it to the airport by then, let alone getting thru security and customs.

I would agree no way. Last time we got off a ship in Vancouver it took us almost 2 hours after getting off the ship till we got through security at the airport. It was a crush of people in buses and in lines. I do believe however there were multiple ships disembarking that morning.

FWIW, Vancouver is a lovely lovely place. If it's at all possible, I highly recommend staying for a night or two!
