Best Place on Disney Magic....
Where is the best place (location wise) to be on Disney Magic for the Sailing Away Party and the Pirate Party? It will be me, my husband and our 5 year old daughter.

We have been on the Magic twice. Both times we were on Deck 10, Starboard side, midship so you can see the show beneath you. From that vantage point the fireworks are out over the water with no obstructions and you can see Mickey really well. Won't tell you how or why as I don't want to ruin the show.

IS the sail away and pirate show the same as they are on the Dream? Or are they different?

Unless it is raining like it was for us on our sail away. In that case it will take place in the lobby. Best place would be looking down into the lobby so you can see.

We staked out a spot right in front of the stage for the sail away. My kids could see everytging and they loved it. Next cruise it was in the lobby and we were in front of lumineres. Not nearly as enjoyable inside. Deck 30 is a great spot to watch pirate show but you may feel a little removed from the action until the end

Just off Magic a few days ago. Starboard side by the funnel vision is the best place to be.
