And to the previous poster, I've never had any problems using American Express in all the same places I'd use M/C & Visa.

In case it matters - I also have not used my card yet. I was saving for a little Xmas shopping. I went back and double checked and mine states I need to do so by 12/31/12.

Wow - odd. I just double checked & my email says 11/30! So, I would suggest that everyone checks their dates because they must not all be the same

Either way - it is $10 free

How long after you got the cards did you get the $10 promo? I got my card last week but haven't activated it. No emails from them, though.

Thanks OP, I got the card last month $25 plus the free $25 and just using that free money got an extra $10. I hope this never ends.

I received my card about two weeks ago and used it on Sunday, but I never received an email about the $10 promo.

I signed up for the card on Oct 30th and got the email on Nov 7th for the $10 promo.

I wonder if it's because you used your card right away. I got mine and tucked it away didn't even activate it until I got the $10 promo. That might be why? An incentive to use it

Do the cards come with your name on them?

I was thinking of getting one of these for each of my DDs. Is there an age restriction on the cards? They are 14 & 15.

They do come printed with your name like a regular Amex. I'm not sure about age limits.
