Door decorations?
I haven't been on here in a while but we are getting very close to our trip. Do people still decorate their resort doors? If so, suggestions/ideas for our first Christmas time trip.

I have seen campsites deocrated and rooms decorated, even windos, but i have never seen the doors deocated. I would worry that someone would like it a bit too much in then take it for themselves. (yes, I would like to believe that doen;t happen on the happiest place on earth but have learned otherwise).
We have decorated in our room. Usually a studio or villa, sometimes the cabins at Fort Wilderness....which is sooo nice at Christmas. Sometimes a small tree, stocking, mostly inexpensive fun Disney Themed items. If we stay early enough in the season, we try to share of decor leaving it or giving it to someone checking in while we are checking out. |

Door decorations are not permitted in DVC resorts. DVC asked members last year not to put up any decorations that could be seen from the outside of the resort. And if you decide to decorate inside the villa, they ask that you not use any tape or tacks to put up the decorations.

Just a quick question for DVCers: Have any of you used 3M command strips to hang things up in your villas. We have a felt tree I'd like to hang up, but of course I don't want to hurt the wall. TIA

We decorate our window....Mickey leaves a present in there every night too!
