Okay- we stayed their for three nights in September... Loved it!!! We actually got upgraded there for free because something happened at POFQ. I loved POFQ but it just wasnt big enough for three adults, 4 year old and a crawling baby.. Lesson learned...

I am trying to get an idea for a future vacation maybe next fall... Why is the Little Mermaid Suite $735.00 so much cheaper than the others?? Kind of blown away that it was so much more..

Are there LM suites? I thought the LM rooms were just rooms, not suites.

Yes, the Little Mermaid portion are just regular hotel rooms. The Cars, Nemo, and Lion King sections are suites.

POFQ is a moderate level and AoA is considered a value level. I'm not sure I'd consider it an upgrade from POFQ to AoA. I'd probably insist on one of the other moderates or a deluxe.

Oh okay, well maybe not upgrade but I felt like it bc it was a suite..
Well dang now I dont know about that then...

What are your favorite moderates? We really LOVED POFQ and hate we didnt get to explore it more.. I just was at my wit's end with my mom and the kids being in the room but next time it will just the four of us.. I am dying to go back and I was just there 8 weeks ago. :/ We just didnt have the magical time we had hoped for and want to go back...

My kids love POFQ. We also like POR and will most likely be heading back there soon. The positives with FQ is that the grounds are very compact and easy to get around. POR is a little more spread out, but the grounds are beautiful. CBR has a great central pool, but it is so spread out that if you are not close you may be a long hike to food and pool. They do have quiet pools between the buildings, but they are not themed. Of the 3, the kids like FQ and we like Riverside, but you can't go wrong at either. And the boats to DTD are soooooo relaxing after a day in the parks.

Oh! And it is only an opinion, but if you stay at POFQ do not eat at Shudders. The food was not very good. The only negative after several visits to the resort.

Oh, I didnt even see that restaurant. Where was that located??

We ate at one restaurant there, I think it was called Sassagoula something but I may be wrong??

Since you moved to the suite, the room probably felt like an upgrade. My issue would be with the other resort amenities. Value resorts don't have pool slides, which would be a huge disappointment for my DD, nor do they have hot tubs or provide towels at the pools. There are only food courts, no sit down restaurants. The Port Orleans resorts also have the boat transportation to DTD. These resort amenities are the reason why I'd book a moderate over a value.

POFQ is my favorite moderate resort. If your main issue at POFQ was the size of the room for 3 adults plus 2 kids and think you'd be more comfortable in the POFQ room without the 3rd adult, then I'd recommend you give it another try.

Shutters is the restaurant at CBR, not POFQ. POFQ doesn't have its own sit down restuarant but it shares Boatwrights with POR. I have to agree that Shudders would be a very apt name for CBR's restaurant. I've only eaten there once and have no desire to ever go back.

I was dissapointed we didnt get to explore some more. Hopefully we can stay on a future trip! The grounds were wonderful! CBR really appeals to me too! Wish we could stay deluxe but I doubt we can swing that.

CBR is not deluxe. It's a moderate and very similar in price to PoFQ. Its a besutiful resort with a great themed pool. However, it is huge. We stayed in a pirate room there and it was way too far from the pool and food court. We are staying at PoFQ in January because we want somewhere super small after that experience.

Oh yeah, I knew it was a moderate.. I was just saying I wish we could stay deluxe.. I looked at the Poly and Beach Club but way out of our price range!! Unfortunately.. They look awesome!!

Oh I can't wait to go back!!!!!

We are staying at a of a in march...can't afford a deluxe or events wears but I'm excited to stay here as we'll!
