Everybody starts out as new to the Dis Boards and the Beach club/ Yacht club thread and we realize that people might miss that first page which is a GOLD MINE of information. That's why we mention to newer folks like yourself to be sure and not miss it. We also realize that sometimes people are busy and they need an answer right away. Regardless of where you are coming from, we want you to know that we will be happy to help. Together as a group, we have a big pile of experience that can probably help anybody with any type of concern! Please don't be shy! ASK AWAY! I think it's so nice of you to go the extra mile to let management know that a Cast Member really did a great job for you. She put a wag in your tail and just think about how happy she will be to find out you really appreciated her efforts. Thank you so much for doing this! One of the things that I love to do when I'm at the parks is jot down the name of CM's who really make me smile with their efforts. I have an App called "Color Notes" on my smart phone that functions like a post it note. I type in their name and then before I leave the park I'm at I stop by guest services and fill out the cards they give you to write the CM's a note thanking them for the great job they did. I had the experience where I got to talking with a CM about those cards and he said that he absolutely LOVES it when he gets one. Sometime when you get to chatting with a CM you find out some interesting things about their dreams and aspirations and why they are working at WDW. If it's a conversation like that I really enjoy taking the opportunity to encourage them and wish them luck in the future. To me, writing those cards is just as much fun as going on any ride or seeing any show. Rick, just know that your efforts to reach out to Terri will probably mean the world to her! ~NM |

Don't think I noticed anyone mention it, but the Christmas deco's are up at the Beach and Yacht Club's. Simply beautiful.
Had a nice visit with the ever so hospitable Teena last Saturday. Teena have a great cruise. Make sure you send lots of pictures of Flat Ben cruising with you and Bob. Maybe you should take a Flat Lily too. Bet FB would make a great big brother to FL. Lori the lurker

Why not????????? I'll be pared by SAB with a cocktail and a book and the tall guy horsing around with a 11 YP Princess. She wanted to stay at BC because of the pool and DH, who is so opposed to taking time off so close to layoff (Construction) could not refuse her. Incidentally, his company has been working in your area lately.

Have just changed our trip!! We are now staying at BC Villas in a 2 bedroom from 9/7/13 till 9/11/13 and then switching to 2 rooms at BC CL from 9/11 till 9/15. We have never stayed at either the Villas or the BC. Can anyone recommend a good location for the Villa? We really don't care about the view but would probably prefer something in a quiet location, not sure what to request for the on-line check-in. Thanks for your help.

Hi everyone! Mom and I will be arriving at the Beach Club late on the 28th - probably around 8:00pm. By then we won't want to venture out for dinner, but will need something to eat. Any suggestions at the BC/YC Resort for that late in the evening?? Anything open? We won't need a heavy meal - just something to get us through the night and a beverage or two... preferably adult...
![]() We'll be staying 3 nights - until Saturday morning - when we leave for our very first DCL Cruise on the Fantasy!! Thanks for any suggestions in advance! Michelle |

U could try Beaches &Cream by Stormalong Bay (often crowded though) or Captain's Grill at the Yacht Club.
Have a great vacation

We spent a couple of nice evenings in Crew's Cup where you can get appetizer type food and delicious adult beverages. At that time of night there is plenty open and lots of options, Captain's Grill or Beaches and Cream might also fit the brief. We dined in room first night and that was great too. Enjoy

But personally, I would stick with something within YC or BC. Here are a few photos that might help: New BC Marketplace Menu: ![]() ![]() Boardwalk Bakery: ![]() Boardwalk Pizza: ![]() Boardwalk-to-Go: ![]() Picabu at the Dolphin: ![]() Late Night Dining Options at YC/BC ![]() Wow - just realized that I don't have a photo of the B&C take-out, which is really odd because that's a late-night tradition for my husband and our boys. Never took a photo! Anyway, I can definitely confirm that both chocolate malts and rootbeer floats are on the menu, because that's their standard order.

Depends on where you live in Clermont. I'm 31 miles away from the BC but a friend of mine I work with is also in Clermont and only about 10 miles away. I'm on the other side of Lake Louisa so I have to go north and east and then south and then east and then north ... in other words, there is no direct road to WDW from where I am in Clermont. The commute is fine until I hit WDW property.

Just looking for the best one. Luckily we won't all have to relocate so not worrying about schools and such will make it a little easier. Thanks for you reply!! Dee~ if you see this let me know and I'll shoot you an email to fill you in.
