Ikea here do Cinnamon buns, had one this afternoon, so I don't see why they wouldn't do them in the UK if you've got one near you.

They sell them in the café and you can buy them frozen too in the food shop part

ETA - They do have them

Tesco has a cinnamon cake which a friend brought into work yesturday and eating it took me right back to Disney and i was discussing it with another friend who had also been to disney and said the same thing. Its funny how certain tastes and smells can take you right back some where.

I will be giving them a try next time I'm passing. Hopefully they will have some seasonal cinnamon products too!

It's not my recipe exactly and I'm more than happy to share.

For the dough, I use the recipe for dinner rolls here

And I also use ther cinnamon roll filling and glaze recipe here

Like I said, I bake half straight away and put the other half, covered with cling film in the fridge (they will rise in the fridge overnight), then take out 30 minutes before baking the next morning.

Good luck, let us know how they turn out

I usually freeze them before baking, once they've been rolled into balls, then put a few on a baking tray from the freezer and bake for a bit longer than the recipe states, then you have fresh biscuits right out of the oven (and the house smells awesome).
Joh - would you also be so kind to share your Snickerdoodle recipe? I'd love to have a go at making these Thanks!

No problem - will have to type that one in though as it's a handwritten one. Will try and post it in a little while.

Snickerdoodle recipe

For those that wanted the recipe - sorry it took me so long to post, it completely slipped my mind

Fat Fluffy Snickerdoodles

makes 16-20 cookies

1/2 cup butter, at room temperature

1 cup sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

2 tablespoons milk

1/4 cup sugar + 1 tablespoon cinnamon for dipping

Preheat oven to 375.

Cream butter and sugar with an electric mixer until smooth. Add egg and vanilla, mixing well until combine, about 2 minutes. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt, and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon. Mix until dough comes together. Add in milk. If dough is still crumbly, add milk 1 tablespoon at a time until it comes together. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

In a bowl combine remaining sugar and cinnamon. Remove dough from fridge and roll into big 1 1/2 inch balls. Dip in cinnamon sugar mixture and place on baking sheet. Lightly press down on dough to flatten it. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes.

NB. If you want to freeze them, do that after you have rolled them in the cinnamon sugar - just put them on a baking tray, freeze until solid then I put them in a freezer bag and label with the date and cooking instructions. Before baking, I take them out of the freezer, allow them to defrost, then flatten them and bake as normal.

Have you ever seen The Disney Diner lady on you tube and her own web site? She has a recipe for Cinnamon Rolls from Main Street Bakery?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksM520q4LEY

and also Tonga Toast from the Poly...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hx_dJ7pjveo

I am slightly addicted to her 'you tube' stuff although I must admit I HATE and I mean really HATE cinnamon!!! Love the smell of it at Christmas time but can't eat the stuff. I spend all my time while in Florida saying 'excuse me but does this have cinnamon in it'...
