LTT allergy question

I am trying to get a LTT dinner ressie for 12/16 and while I am excited to try it, I do have a question.
I am allergic to cranberries and notice that the only dessert offered is a apple Cranberry cake. Has anyone had experience with getting a different dessert there? I would love the apple crisp or something similar to what everyone else is having and not just some ice cream which seems the standard when asking for a substitute.
Thanks for any information you can give.
Becky

I did find one availability for LTT that day but it is at 7:10pm on a MVMCP day. Am I correct that I can not take that reservation as I will not be attending the party itself? Have no interest in the party just want some food

I have had the sugar free sorbet at LTT and it was very good. My kids wanted it rather than their ice cream, lol. Over on the DISabilities board there is a lot of info about food allergies if you can't find the info here.

You are correct about the 7:10 reservation - you can not take that time without valid party admission.

Thanks for the reply. I will wait and see. Hopefully I will get to try a different dessert. Not a big ice cream fan. If I am lucky enough to get the reservation that is I currently have Chef Mickeys but really want to go to LTT now. Should have thought about that back at my 180 day mark I guess.

they will provide you with a cranberry-free dessert if you are allergic. You may want to note the allergy on your ADR - you can call and have it put on there. I don't think you're able to request a specific dessert though - if they don't have the ingredients on hand to make it, then they can't make it.

Be aware they MIGHT make you something different or it might be the ice cream. DS is peanut allergy kid and while some others have bragged on chiefs creating special desserts, we are seeing less and less of this. Last trip he was almost always offered ice cream (Edy vanilla ) in place of the desserts that were offered. This was the case at Garden Grill where the meals is much like that at LLT. We have not eaten at LTT since his diagnosis so not sure about them though we love LTT and find their staff wonderful.

We ate a LTT 2 weeks ago with a gluten allergy so we also could not eat the dessert. We were offered brownies or raspberry sorbet, we all picked the sorbet and I ma happy we did. The chef (who also has a gluten allergy!!!) surrounded it in fresh berries and put srpinkles on it for the kids. It was so refreshing.

Also, at Garden Grill we were given at out of this world dessert, I have a picture of it on the Disablities board under Food Allergy Pictures. You may want to check that board for some great ideas for those with food allergies!
