We ate lunch there last week and enjoyed it. It was quiet - maybe 1:15 or so, not many tables filled. The antics were pretty calm. The waiter was a charming kind of funny (Jeffro!). DH had an awesome burger and bottomless shake. I had the bet (and prettiest) open face tuna melt....served on grilled sourdough and drizzled with balsamic.

Well after a little deliberation, taking into account the replies on this thread, other posts I have seen, and some unfavorable recent reviews, I decided to cancel our ADR for WCC. I would actually like to try the lunch there, but after seeing some pictures of the new "platter" I was not impressed at all with the looks of the dinner food. I moved some ADRs around and now we are doing 'Ohana on our first night instead (which I know comes with its own mixed reviews, but I have never been and have wanted to go for a long time, so I'm definitely trying it!).

If you don't cancel then please post a review! I am still curious.

We cancelled our reservations based on the recent menu changes too but I just checked today and the wdwinfo site has the old menu back with the 10/12 date as last updated. I *thought* they had the "new" menu not too long ago. Has Disney changed it back already?

We liked the atmosphere and food there, but I am disappointed to hear dinner is only the platter now. In the past, I would get the pasta dish because I am not a BBQ fan or a big meat eater. Now I won't have that option if we want to go back.

The Command considers us a bunch of losers. But we’re gonna do it right this time, ’cause we’re the best. If we don’t... We’ll be drummed out of the corps.

I ate there post-menu change and thought the food was really, really good. The hassle of getting there and back was a bit much, but the food was worth it.

We have reservations for dinner here in mid-December. After the menu changes, negative reviews and limited menu we were debating cancelling. We decided to keep them b/c we really want to see Wilderness Lodge decorated and think our kids will love it. The pictures you posted look really yummy, so I'm not so worried now! Thanks!

We ate there a couple of years ago (obviously before the menu change) and it is on the short list with Hollywood & Vine for places we will never go back to. The food was awful and service was non-existent.

If someone eats here soon please let me know if the menu is back to the old one. I cancelled my reservation for February but would really love to go if things are back to the way they were.
