Ohana - Chicken or Turkey
I was at 'Ohana in September 2011 and I honestly don't remember if they served chicken or turkey skewers at that time.
I looked at several menus online and some say they serve steak, pork, shrimp, and turkey. Others say steak, pork, shrimp, and chicken. I've searched other threads and it looks like the current poultry selection is chicken. Is that correct? I'm going in January 2013 and was just curious. Thanks!

Chicken has been on the menu the past few times I've been there, over the past 4 years. Never turkey.

Hmmm...maybe they just changed it to turkey?
This menu says it was last updated 10/12 and lists turkey: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dinin...staurant.id=25 but I read a post from 09/12 that said chicken was served and then this site says it was updated 04/2012 shows chicken: http://allears.net/menu/menu_oh.htm. The WDW Magic site also shows turkey: http://www.wdwmagic.com/dining/ohana...inner-menu.htm. I'm guessing then that it used to be chicken and in October it was changed to turkey? I wonder if I'll like the turkey skewer? I guess I'll find out in January.

It's been only chicken for a couple years. The chicken is really, very good ... But not nearly as good as the turkey was but they're cheap and this is what we get for accepting everything they do because it's so magical. LOL.
![]() The most recent change was from pork tenderloin to pork chop, which is a real letdown. |

I ate there in August and I know for a fact it was chicken. It was good.
The pork chops are so gross. Yuck! Sent from my Galaxy SII

I wonder why the online menus are so different. Maybe they just haven't updated them from turkey to chicken!

I'm not a huge fan of pork chops anyway but love chicken so glad to know that's tasty!

Chicken it is then!
Curious as to why the "updated" menus on sites that usually stay pretty updated still say turkey. I guess it's really not a big deal. I'm probably the only one who was starving and on a conference call earlier tonight and was stalking menus planning out my meals (3 months in advance) to pass the time (and hunger) - LOL! I've just eaten a giant meal because I didn't get to eat until 10:00 P.M and I missed lunch and I think I am going to pop. Neither chicken nor turkey sound very appealing at the moment! Long, long day...not the topic of this thread but thought I'd share!

Yup, was chicken in July. My very picky DD actually LOVED it! It was the most she ate over our whole 11 days!

Right now it's chicken, and it's been chicken for a couple of years now, any menu you see that says turkey is outdated or incorrect. It's been noted that unofficial sites do not always have accurate menus and should not be expected to.
