I used to post on the DIS a lot in the "old days" but not as much lately. I have always loved your posts, you make me laugh and have such a kind heart. I'm not sure if I am the same Piglets Mom that you are thinking of, as I never really posted here on the Sports thread till planning this cruise. I would love to run into you someday, and promise to do it gently

Btw.... You mentioned the Villiages earlier .... Do you live there? My Uncle moved down a few years ago and loves it.

Im sad that i was unable to stay for our trip. By the time we decided to extend our trip the only value available for our nights is pop! I guess its better than not staying at all.

in my stay september 2011, i received towel animals daily.
i was there for 8 nights and some days i received 2 towel babies.

i had a new girl that had only been on the job 1 week.
i handed her a $20 the second day i was there.

she had shared with me she was a single mom and struggled with bills.
how could i not tip her big?

anyhoot, she did a lot of towel babies for me and even decorated my toilet in the room..........

i tipped her regularly that week.

the trip i had this fall, staying at sports naturally, only had towel babies 2 nights out of the 8 nights there.

tennis building is too far from the food court for me.
i was assigned there once but asked to be put in touchdown 10.
had to wait many hours for the room but it was well worth it.

some peeps like being in the back buildings as they are very (usually) quiet.
i like to be near food.........

staying onsite at the motherland is awesome.
if you can't be at Sports, Pop is a great second choice.
staying on site is so much more fun than staying off site.

Sports is my home away from home.
i can't tear myself away from that resort. i am so comfortable there.


i say i am going to stay at POFQ or at Contemporary for a few nights then switch to Sports.
it never has happened.
i don't think i can give up any nights for another resort yet.............

We stayed one night at Sports this trip then moved to CBR. I miss Sports.... We have has the worse Mousekeeping there. I tip well and its just my Dh and I so really no work. I have had to call for stuff every night! Can't wait to go back to Sports next trip!

Pool looks the same as 3 years ago but now has a lift near the wash house to aid entry into the pool

Thanks! I usually stay in the Surf's Up section but I think I'm going to request Touchdown this time. I've also stayed in Center Court. Does anyone have a favorite section?

i have stayed at Surfs Up, both of them, many times.

I started staying at touchdown 10 about 5 years ago.
have stayed twice at touchdown 7.

my favorite building is touchdown 10, the side nearest the food court.

I like the preferred section, Surfs Up, as well but would settle for Touchdown anytime. You are still very close to the main lobby.
