Someone I know just came back from the Fantasy... The cruise desk 'knows' the date but all they could say was 'Before February'.
Looks like we need to wait a couple of months...

[QUOTE=NancyIL;46687530]A cruise that has to stop in Fanning Island would be longer than 7 nights. Only NCL's Pride of America does 7-nght cruises from Hawaii, as it is a US-flagged ship.
We did a 7 night Hawaiian cruise (RT Honolulu) in 2003 for our Honeymoon on NCL (before Pride of America - non US flagged ship), and our foreign port was Fanning Island. We also had 3 other Hawaiian ports. Fanning Island was breathtaking. You had to tender, but once you got there, it was the most amazing place. We were told that the beach was used for either the opening or closing credits for Gilligan's Island. I'd go there again in a heartbeat. |

Do any cruise lines still do the round trip out of Honolulu and include Fanning Island?

Our TA just made us a spectacular offer with RCCL for 2014, so we'll probably skip DCL. |

I was ready to book the Wonder's Vancouver to Honolulu one-way in September 2013 that never materialized. I got tired of waiting for DCL to announce their fall 2013 cruises, and instead moved an onboard booking to the Magic's May 2013 Transatlantic cruise. |

Yes, I agree. I keep getting excited about some news every time I see a new post, but they don't have much to do with 2014 dates. I prob. Just caused someone else some excitement haha.

I doubt if there are many more possible predictions than the ones that have been made here already :-) I think Disney should read the thread, though, to see how many are beginning to think about booking with other cruise lines. We are now among that group.

So I am looking at a fall 2014 Dream or Fantasy cruise. For fun I started looking at other lines and the ones I have looked at, Royal Caribbean, Carnival and Princess, only have the first part of 2014 out. Is there really such a rush for DCL to release the entire year?

Pictures and announcements on the main page of the DCL site look different!
