San Juan

For those that have cruised into this port, is there a liquor store nearby? How are the prices? Thank you in advance

Not sure, the cruise ships docks right at Old San Juan, I have not been on a cruise to this port, but I have been to Old San Juan 3 times, most of the stores are souvenier shops and restaurants. I do not remember seeing any liquor stores, but there might be one, just ask there are usually plenty of Police in the area to ask. If there is a store, they will point you in the right direction. Good Luck, but if all else fails, not sure if they have the Bacardi Rum tour as an excursion? They have a shop with plenty of rum you can buy and a few samples at the end of the tour.

There is a duty free liquor store on the upper level of the port. The locals drink Don Q rum, very smooth.

I was just there and can vouch for the Don Q. Cruises on day visits usually dock at the old town piers and there is a CVS on the main drag as you head towards El Morro (you should see it easily). Surprisingly, they have a reasonable selection of beer and liquor.
Vacation Commando. Cruises with DCL, RCL, Princess, HAL (blues cruiser!), Clipper, Cruise West, Carnival.

what are the liquor limitations for that itinerary? Last time we were there Bacardi was set up giving out free sample drinks. The frozen ones.
