The Disney online store was running a sale on personalized fleeces so all the kids got one of them to wear in the parks for photos in front of the castle. The online store had a Disney Rubiks cube that will absolutely torture my older boys. I also purchased a princess play set that my 3 year old niece and I will enjoy when we play "Princess Dance Party". My Nephew got a set of Cars II monster trucks, which will undoubtedly do hit and runs on the Princesses when we are not looking. Disney Dollars are also in the plan for my older boys. My absolute favorite was all the princess crap I got my niece from the Disney outlet. She is doing a bippity, boppity boutique day with an ADR at Akershus for dinner with the princesses so I went a little crazy after suffering with 3 boys who had zero interest in the estrogen side of Disney. I plan on mailing down the purchases before we hit the resort and I even scored character themed reusable tote bags to put the stuff in when I put it in the room. I haven't started to think about the food I'm going to stash in the bags yet. I thought about getting together a snack basket for my Dad since he is taking us. I might use Garden grocer for that since it is a bunch of us who are going. I will have to figure out what energy drink my brother drinks and start paying attention to what my sister in law feeds the kids when we are over at her house. I am seriously thinking of torturing my teens and ordering snacks like "Teddy Grahams" and fruit gummies. These are the snacks that they still love but are too cool to eat anymore. A popular teen snack is that ungodly cheese in a can. One of the teachers at school brought that on an overnight school camping trip and you would have thought it was liquid gold with they way they were all begging for it. If I threw a can of that cheese in their bag I would win the award for "Best Mom Ever!" Can Spam be far behind I wonder.... ~NM

How in the world did I not know about the loads of laundry/getting loaded scenario? I ALWAYS do a few load so laundry each trip - usually around 5 am. Do you think the grey goose slushies would keep in a refillable mug in the frig? I can always bring my own paper umbrellas!
Teena - maybe you could come to work extra early that day and join me in the laundry/party room! Or a new Mini BC/YC Dismeet staging area! |

![]() I don't know if we'll ever do V&A. There seems to be so many "out there" gourmet items on the menu, I feel like for the money, we would waste a lot. ![]() Glad you enjoyed it!!! |

Definitely would give new meaning to "happy hour"! It would be our first DisMeet with a hot tub!!!! Seriously - 10 hours? How is that going to be on your feet? Between the hurricane and the snow I am so ready for July!!!!! Dee - any news on a July trip? Pixarmom - hope you and Flat Ben have a fantastic Poly trip! Two things I found my kids always love in their "in room surprises" are arcade cards and disney gifts cards. Oh year and Mickey chocolate bars! |

Super quick update while DBF is still sleeping.
1. We got the King size bed I requested!! The room is amazing as well! Corner room so we have a two sets of windows giving us our water view and right next to an exit. Couldn't ask for anything better! 2. So are all our meals have been amazing. Sanaa may be my current favorite and has been added as a must eat at from now on. But tonight we're eating at Artist's Point which I've been looking forward too for over a year. 3. Very happy the Food and Wine Festival is going till tomorrow. Only ate at about half the booths I wanted to so far. Finishing up tomorrow. And only have two counties left on my drinking around the world mission All I can think of right now... So far this has been one of my favorite WDW trip I've taken

I have a question: we are arriving in 3 weeks for BC standard view. Our group has 3 rooms and my BFF would like an adjoining room with her mom and dad. The only request on our ressie in addition to the two adjoining rooms is full balcony. This is really important to my BFF, not so much to me. We just want a room close to theirs.
We were not planning to do online check-in, but when we met with the TA to pick up our stuff, she said we have a better chance of adjoining rooms if we do online check-in because they assign those rooms first. Two years ago, we stayed at CBR and while we had rooms on the same floor of the same building, they weren't right next to each other and we DID do online check-in, so this time we thought NOT to do online check-in and hope we can verify our requests and perhaps adjust at check-in. I told my BFF I'd check with the experts on here to see what your thoughts are. |

One of the corner rooms had two queens and a day bed. With five in our family, it was great to have the larger floor plan, too. The other corner room was that wonderful room 1501, right next to the secret door to Epcot. It had a king size bed in the corner bedroom and then there was a hide-a-bed in a separate area on the other side of the bathroom. We only had our two daughters with us on that trip, so it worked out great. Both of them were awesome upgrades.
