Had a GREAT time at POP week of Oct. 22nd!!! Our first time there. Loved our lakeview location in the 50's building. There was only 2 of us and the room was very nice and spacious enough. The view of AOA across the lake at night was really pretty. CM's could not be nicer. Room was clean and comfortable. If I have any complaint it would be the POP carts that go pretty fast (for a walking path) every 2 minutes by the lake. I know they are working but it seems a little excessive to me. Sadly saw a few crushed geicos and frogs that are normally very fast that even they could not get out of the way in time. Also I am a smoker and could not believe seeing this MOTHER blocking the steps to the entrance of the hippy dippy pool at around 2 pm with tons of kids (including her own) puffing away and smoke blowing on everyone trying to get around her. Other than that I really Loved POP. The transportation was great also! I would go back in a heartbeat.

Woooo we are staying at POP again this coming year, May 10-19! We had a blast at POP in 2011 and can't wait to stuff our faces with Mickey waffles again!

30 day countdown to our first time staying at POP😊. Received our Mickey mail today as well !!! It's starting to become more of a reality.

I'm smoothing out my dinner ADRs (I want to make sure we're back at POP in time for the outdoor movies). Any idea what time the movies will start in April?
(Daylight savings starts on March 10 so I imagine they will have to start later than 7pm?)

How far is the walk to AoA? We are staying at Pop (requested 60's) but the rest of our family is staying in the Nemo suites at AoA.

Hi! It's a quick walk over the bridge to AoA .. And if staying in the 60s and your other family in Finding Nemo you will be super close, as Nemo is right opposite the 60s area.

Elvis is available at The Pop bakery (by the ice cream area). It's a chocolate cupcake, peanut butter frosting, banana custard filling with chocolate drizzle and candied bacon on top! Yum! I have a pix if I can figure how to post from my phone

Welcome back! Happy that Pop rocked for you ... The 50s is a great location ... We love bldg 3 lake view that's a shame that woman was so inconsiderate smoking by the pool, a no smoking area. Wish the CMs would handle that but a accountability falls on her. Glad you didn't let it get to you.

Happy Veterans' Day! First chance to report back since we got her Friday night: got both our room requests for '60s lake view met! We're in room 5424 ( building 5) and its very convenient to Hippy Dippy pool and the food court, plus a very sort walk to the AOA bridge. And especially close to the 4th floor elevator and ice machine which works great for us.

Kids went swimming Saturday afternoon in the Hippy Dippy but the water was COLD! The heater had been fixed but it was taking a while to warm all that water. So we switched over to the Computer pool for a bit. (BTW pool @ AOA is locked now. Went for a walk last night around 10pm and checked.)

Made RD at HS on Sat and EP on Sun, took breaks mid-day and then stayed until close both nights. PoP buses are great... haven't waited more than 5 minutes yet!

Taking it easy this morning and going to MVMCP tonight!

Thanks for checking in on your vacation!! You have a great lake view location... we actually love the 4th floor ... and right across from the bridge... perfect!
