Eh. I'm sure the theming will be nice. I just hope they stay away from Starbucks baked goods. They're AWFUL!

This stinks. I don't like Starbucks but love the bakery. I will be making a few trips to the bakery this week.

This. I don't know why so many people think that a company so invested in theming will fumble this decision and put in a Starbuck's that looks just like one you would find in downtown Chicago. And the Starbuck's brownies are way better than the MSB versions.

Somehow I don't think Walt Disney would ever have approved the decision to replace a beloved shop like Main Street Bakery with a Starbucks.

This sucks I love the cinnamon roll from that place. Guess I will have to get me one or two my next trip.

It's a nice setup at DCA. Nothing made me smile more than to see the starbucks logo on one side of my cup and Disney on the other! LOL

As a coffee drinker I am in the minority here - I welcome Starbucks! I hate Nescafe and Disney has been hearing loud complaints for years from WDW guests about the terrible coffee. Well not we have good coffee - and a welcome choice for breakfast other than tons of sugar....

Added my negative comments on WDW's FB page.

The advent of national chain stores helped lead to the demise of real small-town 'Main Streets'. I don't want to come to WDW to have my nose rubbed in it there too. Put Starbucks in the new Fantasyland, where tired, footsore parents would really appreciate their offerings. Keep the Main Street Bakery as it is!

And I, too, do not understand the economics involved. I certainly understand putting brand name items such as Starbucks into the parks, but not at the expense of a location that certainly looks like it makes money hand over fist for Disney morning, noon, and night.

It's one of the reasons I haven't been able to get DH to go back to DL with me since 2008. No decent coffee. Not only does the coffee in the park SUCK, but there wasn't an actual Starbucks in walking distance either. The options for coffee were Disney, Denny's, IHop or McDonalds. He was not amused. LOL I was always kinda surprised there wasn't one in Downtown Disney. I really liked going into the new one in DCA this summer and getting my Iced Mocha made just the way I get it at home.
