DCL transfers question

Originally I was going to fly into MCO (Orlando) but prices are sky high and now I'm considering renting a car to drive down (only 9hr drive) am I able to return the rental at the airport & use the DCL transfers that I've already paid for? Or can you only use them if you FLY into MCO?

You can use them from MCO no matter how you get there...but why? If it is at least 3 days before the cruise, you can cancel them and get your money refunded. They aren't cheap.

If you are renting a car, you can return it in the Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach area (depending on the company) and ride that company's free shuttle to the cruise terminal. The Budget Cape Canaveral code is CC5 (and it's sad that I know that). Check prices though--rentals that cross state lines can be quite costly.

If you opt to drive your own vehicle, you can park at several off site spots with complimentary shuttles for $6.99 per day, sometimes less.

Thanks! We are officially driving (my moms car thanks for her help!!) and parking at the port. My TA should be checking on our transfer refund.

This will be our first time driving. It's 1/2 the price to fly!
