Please be advised! The 2nd FE group has decided to change the last date for sign up. The new date will be tomorrow 11/5/2012 at 2:00PM CST. This way when I get home I can post the Final FE list. About one week or sooner if I have all the cabin numbers I will send out a list of rooms by Floor so that it will be easier to deliver.

No, it's not haunted, lol At least I don't think it is

I sure don't mind you asking why. It's kindof complicated, but the reason is that we have 2 cabins... 7678 and 7674. My husband, myself and 2 of our children are in one cabin and my dad and 2 of my other kids are in the other cabin. They are only separated by one cabin, 7676. Which also happens to be a connecting cabin to 7674. I was hoping... PRAYING... That if the person who booked that cabin was a DISer, they would be willing to switch cabins with me so that we could have connecting cabins. My dad has some medical issues and my mom just passed away about a month ago We are taking him along with us to try to take his mind off of things and I would
Like for this to be as relaxing as possible for him. Originally it was just myself and my family booked on the sept 22-29 sailing (2 connecting OV cabins). But we had to come back home The Friday before boarding the ship due to my mom's illness..
I hope this explaination wasnt too long. I just dot want anyone to think badly of me for asking. I wouldn't be asking under Other circumstances. But, regardless.. It doesn't look like anyone has that number anyway. I'm hoping we meet up at our cabin doors and that person is willing to switch. If not, it will just have to work

They might be waiting cause there is a military and DVC discount out right now. The DVC discount is for the cat 4 rooms and the military rates were cat 9 & 5 just an fyi

It does appear that there is still a good amount of availability left on our cruise - have you called DCL to ask if they have a pair or connecting staterooms available that you could switch to? Good luck!

Yes, I did try that...and I've been checking every day. The only OVs available are too expensive to upgrade. We are already maxed out on our budget for this vacation. I really don't want to downgrade to an inside because it's alot less room and because my dad really wants an OV And, the only inside cabins left are more expensive than the OVs we have now!! So, I figured my only hope was to switch with cabin 7676... Or by chance someone upgrades their 2 connecting OVs. I'll keep my eyes opened till the end I guess. Lol

Well....we got a stateroom...we got 7006--exactly what we paid for--category 9A....so we have cruised 29 times and our streak continues of never getting an upgrade....why Disney will not sprinkle us with a little pixie dust we just don't know....but reports are that this is a nice stateroom so it is what it is.....

-HUGS- I am so sorry about your mom. We lost my dad this year. While no one can know exactly how you are feeling, I now have a greater understanding. It hits you at the craziest times. Nothing like checking out at the grocery store and suddenly having a breakdown. Next time someone flips out over something silly, I will understand there is probably way more going on than the stupid self serve checkout not cooperating.

I pray that this is a wonderful time for your family. Maybe they will give the person in the room you need an upgrade and that room will be available when you get to the port. Then it we be pixie dust for everyone.

That is amazing though that in all those times you've never gotten an upgrade. Makes you wonder what criteria they use to pick those who get the pixie dust, doesn't it?

I believe the bracelets are being distributed at the meet up at 3pm on Saturday before the life boat drill.
