My middle daughter is 13. I'm getting her:
-Laptop -$250 cash (to buy her own clothes; her style changes too much for me to guess!) -Make-up set -Headphones (she breaks these too much. Most I'm willing to pay are for some by SkullCandy) -Perfume/body lotion set -Wreck This Journal -Misc stocking stuffers (fuzzy socks, pajamas, scarf, gloves) She *really* wants the Samsung Galaxy III. That will run me $280. She either gets that or the laptop, but not both! |

I was at Walmart for the first time in ages today and came across a line by K & C Company for their smashbooks. Has anyone ever heard of them? And more importantly, is it something your girls like to do?
I've finished shopping for my kid sister, but her birthday is in Jan. I'm thinking Wicked tickets, and possibly a smashbook if it's something she'd actually like. It looks like something I would like, scrapbooking without the perfection, but I'm just curious on if any of you have a teenager who likes it.

DD will be 14 in Dec so I;m always lost what to get her
DD doesnt wear make and hopefully stays natural for another 1-2 years. I do plan on getting her a gift cert to get her eyebrows waxed. I told her when she turns 14 she can start waxing her brows if needed and its time-lol!Gift cert for pedi .She like luxury waffers(waffer sticks with chocolate in the middle) and mentioned those would be a great stocking stuffer-lol! The other day she was looking at some cute hello kitty earphones so the nextday I went back and bought those. |

So, are any of your DD14's into painting their nails? MY DD is and I would like to purchase her some more colors. Is there a brand that's better than others? She mentioned OPI, but that's kind of pricey - $10.00 a bottle. I noticed that there are other brands that say "by OPI", is that the same quality?

Last year or the year before I managed to pick up sets of around 10 colors for just a few dollars at CVS on their black friday sales. I haven't looked around this year as my DD could probably start a nail salon with all the bottles she has at them moment! LOL But I would look at the CVS and Walgreens back friday ads for deals on nail polish sets.
