Question Food and Wine Festival 2013?

Does anyone know when the Food and Wine Festival is for 2013? We are thinking about booking our WDW vacation starting the very last weekend of the festival. Even though it may be packed we'd like to at least be there to experience it, and I hear the crowds wind down the Monday after it is over.

Looking at the F&W dates historically, it usually starts on the last Friday in September, and ends on the second Sunday of November, around Veterans Day, which is always November 11th. This year, the F&W Festival has been extended to include Monday, Nov. 12th (work day-off for Veterans Day). In 2013, Monday, November 11th is official Veterans Day, and F&W may be extended to include that day, too.

Historical F&W Dates:
2010 - Friday, October 1 - Sunday, November 14 2010
2011 - Friday, September 30 – Sunday, November 13, 2011
2012 - Friday, September 28 – Monday, November 12, 2012 (work holiday for Veterans Day)

Best Guess for 2013:
2013 - Friday, September 27 - Sunday, November 10 or Monday, November 11, 2013 (official Veterans Day)

Thank you so much for the info!

We just recently got engaged, (at Luau Beach at the Polynesian after Wishes), and though we weren't planning to PLAN a wedding straight away, we've been toying with the idea of planning an Escape wedding at Sunset Point during Food and Wine Fest of next year, (my Dad's 70th is in October and he LOVES Disney).

Congratulations to you both! My DD got married at the Pavilion at Seabreeze Point, on the Boardwalk just before the bridge to the Beach Club. Although my family is mostly from Western and Northern NY, every one of them came to the wedding. Then we all spent a few days together in the parks, just like we were kids again. It was a wonderful, memorable time. I hope for the same for you.

Is there a chance it might go to the weekend of the 17th? Currently trying to plan a trip and I'd like to avoid the F&W crowds.

It's been announced by Disney that the festival will take place September 27 through November 10. Because the 11th is a holiday I can see a possible extension to the 11th. But not so far as the 17th.

It was on the WDW website but the website appears to be down for that page at least. Some have been able to access the page but I can't.
