Did you use Uplighting at your Reception?
I was wondering if anyone decided to have uplighting at their reception, and if you did, what vendor did you choose? I'm deciding if I should book it or not, does it make that big of a difference in the room? If it matters, our reception is at the Boardwalk Marvin Gardens ballroom.
Thanks!

We are doing it too through Disney. I will know in a little bit more than 2 weeks how it looks.

We did and also had our wedding in the boardwalk ballroom. It was totally worth it! We used red and the room looked great!

We used the regular lighting that came with the DJ package (didnt pay any extra) and I thought it was super pretty. We also had our reception in the Boardwalk ballrooms.

Can you tell me what you mean by "regular lighting"? Does the DJ provide more than the dance floor lighting? It appears the lighting is casting a pink glow on the walls, is that just a reflection or did he use a light to do that? Thanks for posting your photo, very helpful!!

The room was actually a lot darker in person than shows in this picture, my jaw dropped when I walked in the room!

The standard DJ package provides for a few ambient lights on the dance floor, etc, but it's not as extensive as additional uplighting or room lighting. You can add additional lighting through Disney (PSAV provides it) or an outside company like orlando-uplighting.
Hope this helps! |
