CC Cabanas - cancellation dates?

Is there a particular date that cabanas are likely to be released before a cruise - is there a certain date they have to be paid for or cancelled, or anything like that?

Since there were none available when I booked my activities, I'm wondering if there's a time - or time of day - I should be checking back.

What about when I get on board? Or is there a waiting list?

Thanks in advance!

Cabanas, like excursions, must be canceled 3 days prior to start of cruise to not be charged for it. They can (and have) shown up on the online reservation page at anytime up until then. Once onboard, you can check at the Port Adventures desk for openings, or see if they have set up a wait list.

Thanks - I've been checking most days, and will continue to keep my fingers crossed!

I guess you just have to check often. I seen a cabana for the adult beach open about a week or so ago when I was looking at activities for our upcoming cruise. It was gone the next day.

I had one disappear before my eyes while I hesitated! So if you want one and you see it, click quick!

When in doubt, grab one. I know on our cruise on the Magic that wasn't sold out, when we were checking in for ours, there were families behind us that were asking if anyone had canceled. If you have one and decide you don't want it, most of the time, there is someone waiting to take it.

The Cabanas is one of those things that you have to grab if you see it available. They are insanely popular. We were able to get one for our upcoming cruise on the fantasy that departs on Saturday. Its our first time with a cabana and are very excited. I have only heard wonderful things. The one we booked is at Serenity Bay and while it is on the adult side, we were happy to take it. This will be our sixth cruise and we have only gone to the adult beach once, on our first cruise for about half an hour. This time we will relax at Serenity Bay until we have to leave and enjoy the cabanas.

Thanks all - I would LOVE Serenity Bay - and especially since it's going to be December and I'm not sure how much actual swimming we'll do, so know we'd really love the chance to have a place to kick back for the day!
