Can I check in for my sister?

My sister and her family are arriving the day after everyone else in our group. The problem is their flight does not get in until 11pm. Can I check in for them sometime during the day so they don't have to worry about it that late with 2 little ones in tow?
We are all staying on my DVC points at AKL. They have their own studio.
The other option is to move our mom to her reservation and have her check-in that day. Their youngest is only 2 so they would be within occupancy limits.

if they are your pts your name will be attached to the ressies. I always check in for all our rooms and have never been told I couldn't. You won't be listed as staying in those rooms but your name is still listed since they are your pts. Last Oct 2011, I checked in for all 4 of our rooms with no problem. They even gave me all the keys. Just this last Oct 2012 I checked in for 2 of our rooms but left the other 2 rooms alone so my nieces could check in when they wanted.

I have checked in three studios on one morning for ourseleves and two other families, when DW and I arrived at SSR before them. All rooms were booked with my points, my name was not on the other reservations, and I placed a "Travel With" note on all the rooms. Two rooms were done with online check-in and one was not done due to that couple not wanting fast checkout.
