So, we are going in the suite instead and I wanted to ask a question. We're two adults and 3 kids (one toddler in a park and play bed).
How would you make sleeping arrangement? I would realy love to use the master shower, but if we're in the master bedroom, is leaves us stranded there, compared to using the living room. I was thinking of putting the kids in the master bedroom instead, and DH and I sleep on the sofabed. This way, we could walk, go outside, use the kitchenette without waking up the kids. On the other hand, if the kids get the living room, DS6 and DD4 would each have their own bed. What would you do?

Yay! My sister and I finally decided what to do! We're going to book a suite at AoA!!! We had been thinking about LM rooms, but we decided to book the suite instead of two rooms. It's my sister and my brother in law, my 18 yo nephew, and my two nieces (5 and 2). We figure my sister, bil and girls will share the bedroom and my nephew and I will sleep in the living room. How big are the beds? I'm short, so it's no big deal for me, but he's about 6'1 or 2. Is the 'table' bed small? Will the couch be big enough for him?
Thanks!

My DS is going to be almost 2-1/2 years old at the time of our trip and he has slept in a crib in his own room. We specifically chose an AoA suite because our plan is to rent a crib and put it in the master bedroom then DH and I can have rest of the suite. We will bring our video monitor. We'll see how it all plays out in January.

I want to get a case of water delivered to us from Walmart. Do they have a minimum amount that I have to order like the Garden Grocer does or can I just get the water? I wish I had known on past trips that this could be done. Thanks to Disboards we now know and it's a great convenience. We have 3 weeks and 3 days; I can't believe it!

I could sleep with her. Not sure what we'll do, I'm more concerned about the poor big foot 18 year old! LOL My sister and I used to have to share a bed when we were kids, so that's no biggie for us either. (I have 9 siblings). I guess that will be one of my next discussions with my sister. LOL I'm just so excited to be booking the trip! Even if it's short.

We have a tripped booked for April!!
Yay![]() We are booked in a Little Mermaid Standard room, looking on the map, its the furthest away from bus stops and food court..anyone with experiece, how is the walk? How long do you think? We have a child who will only be 23months and I was hoping for a less than 5minute walk. Also, do any of the other movies have standard rooms open or only suites?

LM Room, King Bed
We just got back from Disney on October 25. We drove from Naples Florida to Orlando and back. When driving, there are only a few signs for the AoA Resort. You just follow the ESPN Sports Center signs and it's right across the street. It was a little complicated if you didn't know that. When you pull up to the resort you just realize how huge the resort complex is. Animation Hall is right in the middle and can be quite a distance from you're room. We had our car so we really just drove to the food court and then to the parks. We felt it was much easier than waiting for the buses. We had late dinner reservations and it worked out perfect when we returned to the resort. The theming of the AoA is spectacular. We requested a king room in the LM section and was happy to get one and it was ready when we arrived around 10:00 a.m. We stayed in the King Titon Section Bldg #9 with a parking lot view and it was very nice. It was very quiet and we had no problems. The room was really cute and the bed was a nice size for me and my 6'3" husband. I love the Little Mermaid and loved the room. The room had everything you would need including a fridge in a compact way. I was able to get onto the Internet with no problem from my laptop. Cell Phone service throughout Disney is tough not any worse at AoA. The CM's were very helpful and we had a very pleasant stay and for a value resort it was very enjoyable. The pool area was beautiful and the huge statues of King Titon, Ursula and the Little Mermaid were extraordinary. We ate at the Food Court for breakfast and it had many choices, in fact, we were on the Deluxe Dining Plan and used our snack credits for breakfast. i.e., danish, muffins, oatmeal, smoothies, etc. They had vast choices for every meal. We did walk over to the other sections and they were also very nice. AoA is a great value resort.

LM Room Question
When I made the reservations for next week I accidentally made a reserv. for a LM room instead of a family suite.
I have 4 kids (16, 14, 8 and 10). Should I change the reservation which may include changing resorts or just bring a couple of air mattresses. We are only there for 3 nights (it's a quick get a way trip) and wont be spending any time at all in the room. Other idea is to reserv. another adjoining room -- do they connect with a door in the middle? I cant tell by any pictures if they do. I purchased my tickets separately through Disney online so they aren't connected to the room/resort. This is our 5th trip and I still feel like I dont know what I am doing with Disney preparations....ack! |
