We are trying to finalize out ADR and debating about CG. We ate sushi lovers do wondering if it should be a must to experience? Any opinions?

The sushi at CG is very good, also consider trying the sushi bar at the Poly, it is also very good!

I suggest you look at Kimonos at the Swan. I think it's the best sushi at WDW.

I do think that California Grill is an experience that every Disney World fan should experience. The fact that you like sushi is a bonus. Take a meal in their lounge. Get some sushi and flatbread. Enjoy the view and their outstanding service.

My kids liked CG for the view from inside and the outdoor deck. The sushi is good but not 'must do' imo. We made a meal of flatbread apps and sushi with some wine and it was very pleasant.

Just remember that CG is closing for a lengthy remodel that will start in February and last into the fall.
But if you're going before that, CG is EXCELLENT.

Thanks for all the replies. I definitely think we are going to keep the resie and look forward to eating there.
Just in case I need another sushi fix, do I have to make an ADR for Kimonos at the Swan? |
