Well another weekend almost over. Yesterday another sleepless day as we went to the last Philadelphia Union game on minimal sleep. I worked til 7 am saturday morning. Came home went back to bed. DD 13 went to party came home and we watched a little tv with her. Today will be preparing for Sandy. And making sure DH will have everything he needs if he needs to leave house in a hurry as I will be at work. I just hope they let me leave Monday morning.
I hope everyone is well. |

Looks like Sandy will make landfall in New Jersey but we'll be affected by wind and rain. We've got all our outside stuff cleared out. Hoping we don't lose power. I will be moving to a hotel if that happens.
Supposed to just be cloudy today, so we're off to the corn maze with most of our girl scout troop. Stay safe, all! |

They canceled school around 3:00. DH called to tell me, a large cheer went up from the 4 girls with me. No school = no work for me some I'm pleased.

Did the weather hold for the corn maze Jen? Make it through this time?
Sending luxor dust to all the east coast ladies. Spent too much time at the party yesterday and at wall mart waiting on pics to be done. Some jerk ordered close to 1200 pics through the 1 hour photo. You kidding me? We ran home ate, grabbed some make shift costumes and car decor. We went as Disney tourists, ponchos, ear, lanyards. DD passed out candy from a suitcase. Ds was Yoda, girls were princesses. We were recognized I've got a case of the run raggeds today so not much has been.done. made breakfast. Did some cleaning, started laundry, flipped through catalogs for work, watched boarders marathon kiddos played outside in the mud, need to figure out dinner and make mini pumpkin pies for preschool.

This was a different maze, closer to home, and MUCH easier! It was their last day, so we could go through the non-paths if we needed to, and since the corn was pretty much dead, we could see through it to where we needed to go. It sprinkled, but the girls had fun.
