Shula's if you don't want steak?
My family has decided to do one "fancy" dinner while we're at WDW and I'm trying to decide between sooooo many places! But not the point, really. So, what I want to know right now, is how is the chicken and salmon at Shula's? My brother really, really wants a good steak, and most of our party will be happy with a good cut of beef, but we have a couple people who'd rather eat other things; I imagine them most likely ordering either the chicken breast or salmon. Anyone had these at Shula's? How are they?

Our Ratings of Shula's Steakhouse: (rev 5/2/2012)
. . . food price value: B . . . food quality: B . . . food quantity per serving: B . . . food prep speed: B . . . food selection: B . . . seating quantity: A . . . seating comfort: B . . . eatery atmosphere: B . . . eatery convenience: C . . . staff friendliness: A . . . staff attentiveness: B . . . character interaction: n/a NOTE1: Shula's is at the Dolphin Resort, thus a little inconvenient unless coming from DHS or Epcot. The eatery is not owned by Disney as Shula's is a chain. This eatery does not disappoint for meats and veggies, but we find the lobster and salmon to be slightly below par for the reputation and price of Shula's. Be aware that Shula's is pricey. However, the portions are large - the wife and I frequently split entrees. NOTE2: Our opinions of non-steak at Shula's: . . . Mahi-Mahi - - really yummy, especially blackened, highly recommended . . . Florida Red Snapper - - huge, very good, nice and tasty, recommended . . . Salmon - - average in taste, not as good as Artist Point's King Salmon . . . French Cut Chicken Breast - - average, give it back to the French . . . Australian Lobster Tail - - good, tasty, but not outstanding . . . 4 lb. Maine Lobster - - whole lobster is whole lobster |

I had the chicken a couple times. It was airplane chicken then. A breast with the wing attached. They didn't even mention it in the presentation. I had to ask
DS makes fun of me because I go to steakhouses and order chicken. But what can I do? I like chicken. It was good but something like $28 good.....I don't know! I like YS better. Yes even for steak!

I'm leaning toward Jiko because I really want to eat there, but I'm not sure everyone else would like it.
