We have 6 rooms booked for next April! Just hoping they are able to accommodate us in a row along one building. I think we have requested Touchdown but really the rooms being close to one another comes first!

I've stayed on Disney property but never at a value but as there was a group of us and we got a really good deal it seemed silly not to go for it.

We are there for 4 nights then move to a villa. Any tips welcomed!

Only ice boxes. No coffee maker or microwave.

Does anyone know if the rules allow for us to bring our own coffee pot?

I chose this resort based on it being first on the bus line, but was pleasantly surprised when I Googled room pictures yesterday. The entire resort property, including rooms, looks much nicer than I had expected.

I was underwhelmed by the Caribbean Beach Resort we stayed at earlier this year. The Sports Resort looks like much more fun atmosphere.

Lustergirl, me too. I am going again in January too as that is the only month we have never been you know where. That cannot be allowed to stand.

microwaves for guests to use are located in the food court.
coffee, hot water, soda are dispensed there also.

We brought our own coffee pot with us when we were there in January with no problems. I had called ahead and spoke with a manager and he said it was fine. I just made sure I unpluged it when not in use.

We are going back next month for one night before we head over to CBR. For some reason we always make our way back to sports..

They now have free wifi too and you can use a corded connection the room. If they put microwaves in it will be nearly perfect.

Good to know! I will definitely unplug before we leave the room.

I want to try to save some money by having breakfast in the room. I know if we make our way to food court for coffee we will end up eating there also.

CBR was comfortable and clean, like every Disney room I have ever been in, just wasn't my personal taste. I like things a bit more flashy.

I agree, a microwave would be the last thing on my list. I thought about bringing my own since we drive, but feel like that may be borderline obnoxious. I think we will survive a week on cold breakfasts.
Now, if I find out others have done it, all bets are off!

I'm just not a huge fan of Disney coffee. Our first stay at cbr. We usually stay "flashy" too! No kids this trip so trying something new!

MacRaven, I regret to inform you that in downsizing from an 18 room house to a 2 BR condo I had to get rid of almost everything we owned.

HOWEVER, being a smart cookie I took pictures of items so that I could take my memories with me.

I am pleased to inform you that a digital photograph of your LGM made the cut.

Never fear, I shall catch up with you one of these days.

OK now God forbid the moral police find these posts and we will all get an earful but I do bring my own 4 cup coffee pot. I once saw a room that had food coating the whole wall by the table. It seems the people who stayed had a bunch of electrical appliances and used them often but forgot how to clean up after themselves. It was awful and sad for the maid.

I hope everyone enjoys their upcoming trip and has the time of their lives.

Ang, it is the one percenters who ruin everything for the rest of us reasonable people.

I do not care for the use of electrical appliances in rooms because I am sharing a roof with those who are not smart enough to be careful.

The solution is to put microwaves into each room and thus contain the messes.

Disney could make a fortune by having a nice 24/7 convenience store in the food court and by having plenty of outdoor seating for those who want to nuke their own.
