our server let me substitute mashed potatoes for the sweet potato puree. my daughter loves mashed potatoes! she ate off my plate but he was very kind and brought her out some grapes & cheese as well.

for the appetizer, it was either a salad or the soup. the soup was amazing! very hearty with a deep mushroom flavor. there were chunks of portabella mushrooms, potatoes and very tender beef. it was delicious!!

the pork chop was much better than i had expected. it was moist and very flavorful. i enjoyed it very much.

we're waiting for the rain to pass so we can get back to MK for MNSSHP!

Ahhh...I thought those sweet potatoes looked pretty pale! Thanks, emmebear for clearing that up.

Hi friends! The rain is letting up but there's more in the cards for tomorrow. Then, on Monday when I have to fly home Sandy makes landfall in the North East and will disrupt travel from like VA to Maine. Pray that the weather Gods stay on my side!

Plans are for: Ohana Dinner, TRex Lunch, Tusker Breakfast, Cali Grill Dinner, Mama Mels Lunch, Cape May Breakfast, Garden Grill Dinner, Crystal Palace Breakfast, CRT Lunch, Wishes Dessert Party, Boma Dinner, Le Cellier Lunch, Raglan Dinner, Via Nap Lunch, R&C Dinner, Kona Breakfast
I am sure there will be lots of Snacks and QS as well.

If you need someone to Live Report during that time, I would love to try.

It does! I really don't care for avocado but I listened to the reviews and tried it anyway. This was really, really good and tasted kinda like banana but nothing like avocado. I really loved this and was sure I wouldn't. Can't wait to get another one.

I love guacamole, but I just couldn't imagine DRINKING avacado. But now that I know that you don't taste any avacado, I'll definitely give it a try!
