Old Spice basketball tournament, are these men staying on property??? - The DIS Discussion Forums

I just found out this tournament is going on when we are on property. Does anyone know, if these teams stay on property? If they would be on site, which resort(s) would be putting them up. These are division one teams, so maybe not. Any experience would be helpful, thanks.

I would like to change my resort, if these teams would be staying at the resort where I currently have a reservation. I guess I forgot that information.

Don't know why you would want to change away from that resort just because a basketball team is staying there? They are usually real laid back compaired to a godzillion lil kids running around.

However, most of these teams have special needs (California King Beds) for the big boys. My guess is Waldorf or the Peabody.

Actually, I just googled it and it was very easy to find.

It is the Beach Club Resort on-site and the Gaylord off-site.

That is travel for fans. I would assume all the teams are staying somewhere else.

I have traveled with Illinois to various tournaments over the years. They keep the players away from the fans for good reason

When I first saw the OP's original post, I thought she was asking and talking about the team itself. They are quiet. The fans, that usually is a different story. Stayed in a hotel in Chicago where alot of the Gonzaga fans were at and I partied with them until I had to put my

These are college kids and a basketball team doesn't have that many players on the team. I really wouldn't worry about it. Since they are there for a tournament, they will need to have their heads out of their butts in order to do well in the competition. They aren't going to be running in packs around the resort. I have never heard of anyone having any problem with the Old Spice basketball teams. Ever.
