Darn - never knew about this and how many times I've gone to FL. I always put what's needed in a small ziplock bag. I did once wondered what if...

It is gonna depend on the meds: pain/allergy(for making drugs) meds might be an issue. Other meds maybe not. To be safe, I would have original bottles or scripts with me.
I will give you another example: DH is currently stationed in Japan. Family came to visit. Need prescription and note from dr for all meds due to strict drug laws here. Do not bring over the counter meds with caffeine in them. Who knew.
