I'm the opposite, I only drink water, coffee or alcohol. So I am forever having to turn down sodas, juices, etc. It has never occurred to me that I should be bothered by the offers.

Fairly new... still gets a tag :)
I think it's easier to reason with a CHIMPANZEE than to reason with a tween/early teen!

I very rarely have a drink. When offered, I usually just say "no, thanks" with a smile. I don't notice any questioning looks.

I'm curious, where are you all when drinks are being offered? We always have to go get our own. Is it because we have two small kids with us? I don't think I have ever had someone offer me a drink while at the Mickey pool, is it different at the other pools? At the shows we have started to make a habit of grabbing a drink as we walk in. Dinner is the only place they come to us but they also ask my kids, the servers are the same whether I ask for wine or water.

We don't drink. When people ask, I just say "no thanks".. if they ask why (rude!), I tell them the truth: I don't like the taste and for the calories in most drinks, I'd rather eat an extra slice of cake!

I occasionally will get a foo foo drink but I'm one of those who will walk butt to bar so I get a "fresh" one. I've only been asked once and that was in pomerade lounge and I was looking at booze menu.
