Specials when you book your next trip while still at Disney
I have a friend who goes to Disney every year in October. She just got back and told me that if you book your next stay when you are still there you get a discount and always free dining?! Is this true? I have never heard this before but this is the first time we are staying on property not using our timeshare. I was thinking maybe she thought that b/c she always goes in October and there seems to be free dining every year around this time. Just curious b/c if it is true I'll be prepared to book our next trip when we go in May

You have to call the phone number provided on the card from your hotel room before you check out. If you don't see a card in your room call the front desk and ask if there is an offer available.

And I've never heard of free dining AND a discount as well. Usually it's one or the other. That would be nice, though!

Bouncebacks are one or the other - either room/package discount, or free dining, not both. The BB right now is free dining on 5nt minimum packages, but I didn't check the dates! The one in spring was room only discount (as shown above).
