Yes! And the effort to edit your pictures when you get home to get the most for your money! I like to get as many different boarders for each one that it looks good on.

We always preorder photopass before every trip. We usually end up with 300 to 600 pictures on our cd after editing so it's a no brainer for us. We did photopass + last trip and are planning to do it again. It's worth it if you are eating at the restaurants that are a part of the + . We are eating at 5 of the restaurants that have the photo packages included with the photopass+ so once again it will be worth it for us. Many of our favorite photos have come from our photopass.

We are thinking of getting the Photopass+ for our trip. I am little confused. If I pay for the Photopass+, do I also pay for the cd or does it come with it?
Thanks |

Hi, This thread is great as I am in the same situation and trying to persuade my hubby to get the photopass plus. So I just wanted to confirm some things I've seen on here and others that I've read elsewhere.
![]() 1. Can it definately be returned if it's not been opened? 2. Does it include a lanyard like the pin trading ones, so my hubby could use that for his pins rather than buying a pin trading lanyard (trying to use it as an arguement that it saves us a bit of money )3. We are eating at, 1900 park fare, 'Ohana- breakfast and dinner, chef mickeys. Plus doing BBB basic package. Would all these pictures be included?, I read on one webpage that there is a table side photo purchase fee for restaurant pictures . and if yes are they all just digital copy or hard copy pictures?4. Know some ride pics are included are these only one from each ride or as many times as you want and what do you need to do to add them to your pass. 5. Are there photographers at the water parks? 6. I've also been told that at some resorts there is a formal photo shoot you can get, does this cost extra and can you have pictures from that added to you photopass? Which resorts do this? Think that's all my questions, lot's I know, sorry. Hope someone can confirm for me. Thanks |

What you're paying for is to get all your pictures on a CD, which saves you money over buying each picture separately, so yes, the cost does include the CD.

2. It does come with a lanyard, but I don't know if it's sturdy enough to support pins, however, the pin-trading lanyards aren't that expensive, so I don't know that I'd use that as argument for getting PhotoPass +. ![]() 3. Yes, all those pictures can be added to your CD for no charge. The + part of PhotoPass + is being able to get ride and dining photos added to your CD without having to pay for them separately. 4. You can add as many ride photos as you want. To get them added, just go to where they display the ride pictures, and write down the number of your picture, then go to the counter where you would normally pay to get the picture, but in this case you would just ask them to add the picture to your card. 5. The only place I've seen photographers at the water park is along the lazy river, but I haven't been to a water park in a long time. 6. I'm not sure if they do those anymore. |

DH and I did not purchase any of the photos from ours during our September vacation. The reason, they just weren't that good. We looked fine, it was just the angles and backgrounds that didn't work. I can tell they were NOT professional photographers. This was the first year we had encountered such bad photography. We had chosen to take our small compact camera with us so we had a few decent ones from there, but we will definitely be taking our good one next year during our family vacation.

Have only used photopass sparingly. If I buy the + can my kids, who are old enough to go out on their own, get cards and then add all photos to one cd at the end? I'm guessing yes but where would you do that? Thanks

Help me here. I pay 169.00 and get all the good pictures. Do I get the actual print pictures also at the rides ?? Also I need to print many pictures after I get home. 300 pics probaly cost another 75.00 ? Is it still worth it ?

Not only that, but I had a hard time even spotting photographers other than on Main Street in Disney World, and even when I did there was sometimes a line, and crowds, and, well, you get the idea. When you're trying to keep to some sort of ride schedule to peat the crowds in the morning, you really don't want to be stopping for 10-15min. on your walk from ride to ride. I'm thinking that it would be worth it more for people with older kids who can actually take direction with a smile on their faces, etc.. Luckily I brought my big camera, my little P&S and my iPhone! |
