I was thinking about doing this, just was concerned that when the luggage is scanned, they'd take them out of my luggage (checked, not carry on) All went well when you packed the pods?

Yep, the container didn't appear to had been touched at all. As far as I know there's not a TSA rule against it. Might not hurt to label the container as laundry detergent in case the person scanning it isn't familiar with those though. Don't know if that would really help, but it definitely wouldn't hurt.

I'm bummed about the Purex laundry sheets. I wonder if I buy some now before they're gone how long they would store. I really found them extremely convenient for travel. I used the pure and clean variety....
