Hey everyone. I've read the sticky and I'm pretty clueless about this AP stuff so it would be amazing if someone could help me.

Basically we are here (2 adults) now with 9 day MYW tickets that we got with a package (I think it was 20% off or something). We are considering getting APs because we are tentatively planning a January 2013 trip and maybe one more (for sure at least another week in 2013).

This is where I get confused...first I purchased the package in April of 2012 before the price raise...and because they were part of a package I didn't really pay attention to how much they were (at that time I had never even thought of getting an AP). Do these tickets qualify for the price bridging? Or is this just for UT and other wholesalers. If they don't is there anyway for me to figure out how much these tickets were?

Ugh I'm so lost and reading the stickies makes my even crazier! About the only thing I really know is to go to Guest Relations in a park because they are usually best (unless I'm wrong then I'm just really bad, haha!) Sorry for the length and for a topic that is beat into the ground and TIA for the help!

Since you bought them as part of a package from Disney before the price increase, they should bridge those tickets to current gate price, if you use them at least once, and then upgrade to some greater ticket or AP.

1. You have to use the tickets at least once prior to doing the upgrade.

2. Know in advance what it should cost you. Go to Post 18-A of the sticky.
A. Look at the price of the ticket you are upgrading to.
B. Look at the price of the ticket you are upgrading from.
C. Subtract B from A.
D. Multiply C by 1.065 to add the sales tax. This is the price to pay for each ticket.

3. If that is not the price quoted to you (within a few cents) first ask if the person has "bridged the price". If that does not correct the problem ask for your tickets back and go to another window.
