We have done a few trips with no children and LOVED it. It is different, each trip is special in its own way. It will be what you make it. WDW can be very romantic and relaxing. When the kids are with us we do whatever they want since we have had the opportunity to do other things they wouldn't enjoy when they aren't around. We feel less rushed and the trip is then all about them. I'm sure you will have moments that you feel nostolgic but you will have many new, wonderful memories as well. Maybe someday you will be able to go back with your grown up kids and grandchildren. My husband and I are starting to plan our next adult only/anniversary trip for next year. Can't wait.
Just a thought--a great college granduation gift would be a trip to Disney with your daughter. You could use your upcoming trip to help you plan and look forward to it. |
