DCA was packed today. Took advantage of EMH and still had 50 minute wait for RSR. Went straight to FP line but didn't get one. Gone by about 930 am. They even extended park hours and added 2nd WOC.

They will make an announcement throughout the park notifying visitors of these changes...jc
added ... sometime if I remember correctly, you will see a sign at the entrance to the parks with this information.

Many announcements were made during day at DCA but never heard it mentioned at DL park. While in our room, I called front desk to ask if DL park hours were also extended but they didn't even know DCA hours had been extended. I was surprised at the lack of communication to resorts and guests.

We will be there Oct. 27-Oct. 31st, but might spend one of those days at SD Zoo. :-) We were just there in June for the CL grand opening...is this too soon?

Got home last night. DD still talking about Cars Land and the Matterhorn after her first DL trip. Only down fall were the crowds - thought mid-week October would be better. Maybe it's just that Magic Kingdom at WDW is SO much bigger that the people have more room to spread out?
