I have a peanut allergic kid and always send in Rice Krispie Treats for the birthday celebration.

My son has a severe PA (among others) and when it's his birthday I send in Dunkin Donut munchkins for the class. Oreos are also good but I send in a "safe" snack box for him throughout the year with special treats for him when there is another childs party in class. Most of the time the kids want his snack over the the party snack anyway!

Skeetersnacks are great cookies. Costco has a box of 24 packs of 2 for $10. It's marked on the box that they are peanut/treenut safe.

OP here...thanks for all the replies! Believe it or not my dd does not like rice krispy treats!!! Maybe I'll go with the Oreos. I wish I could make cupcakes because it would be less expensive and dd would love them!

DD has some nasty allergies in her class. For her birthday we took in a goodie bag with stickers and fruit snacks. For Halloween I picked up pencils and I think we're going to do either the McDonalds coupons or Wendy's frosty coupons.
